  1. I don't know anything about the job however. Will we have malpractice insurance? Where will we be deployed/do we have options? Is it 3 12's? Not sure how everything is gonna go down
  2. I have received an email earlier today- "Dear Jxxx, Congratulations! After review of your application, you have been selected to be entered into the Health Corps participant pool. We want to thank you for your patience as we work through this hiring process and for volunteering in this time of need." I think they are still getting to people even now so don't worry if you have to wait!
  3. @ABA Hi! I'm also a new graduate looking for a RN job. I graduated in December 2019 as well, however I did not get any positions here in California. Do you think you could give me some information on where to apply and which places might be hiring new graduates? I applied and got interviews for St. Joseph's TIP program in OC and also the UCLA residency program. I missed the other deadlines for other nurse residencies... anything would help ?
  4. Just checked my unofficial results and I passed! Finished in 73 questions but I thought I miserably failed when I left the test center. Have hope!!!
  5. @star petroI took mine yesterday and my results are now "off hold"! I tried again this morning and I got the good popup for the pearson trick.
  6. @star petro Where did you hear that it will take 3 business days? Do you think mine is on hold as well because of livescan reasons?
  7. @H to the R dizzleI don't know why... but I'm pretty sure I failed. I walked out feeling pretty crappy about how I did. I think the exam is the same difficulty wise, just shorter.
  8. @star petro My results are also on hold!
  9. I would say try to get ICU experience somehow. Whether through being a nursing assistant or even working something close to it like a step-down. Sometimes it will take a year to get where you want to be. Getting into step-down or med/tele first and then transitioning into ICU after maybe a year. Many of the interviews I received for ICU nurse residency programs asked questions about my time in the ICU as senior practicum, so I do think that weighed a bit more on my resume.
  10. It closed earlier today, I was able to open the application and save it as a draft, but when I returned to it late afternoon, the link was not working anymore...so I believe it already closed ?
  11. @newgradrn06 WOW!! congratulations! Which unit did you get an offer from?
  12. @pinku.desu Oh WOW!! Okay thanks for letting me know. Hopefully will hear something today or Monday ?
  13. @newgradrn06 I wouldn't worry too much! Float pool I heard was hiring 10 people! Which is quite a lot. Med/tele observation I heard 2 positions were available though ?
  14. @newgradrn06 I'm also waiting for a call...but it seems like it's already late into the afternoon. what were your first and second choices? mine were med/tele and oncology.
