U Penn Second Degree ABSN 2017

Hi Everyone! I have not seen a thread started for the UPenn ABSN 2017 cycle yet! I wanted to start one and see if anyone else out there wants to chat about it! Very excited to hear back this month!

I submitted my app on 10/14/16 and once all my LORs were submitted 10/28/16, I received an email my application was complete and under manage my account, it states my app is ready for review!

Hi all! I just got my acceptance from the waitlist! I am very excited, just waiting to hear from financial aid next week. If anyone could direct me to the Facebook group so I can catch up! that would be great! :)

I'm not sure if anyone is still waiting to hear back- I had been waitlisted and called the admissions office on Wednesday (Apr 5) just to check on the status and was told that at this point they are not taking anyone else off the waitlist. Luckily I heard back from NYU today but Penn was my top choice since I'm from Philadelphia. Congrats to all who got accepted!

Hi guys,

I'm new to this thread and was wondering if anyone can DM me about their financial aid packages that were received? I'm planning on going to nursing school within the next year and am trying to get a sense of my budget and if I'll be able to afford school without taking out a lot of loans. Penn is my top choice but because it's so expensive I was thinking of going to my state school to save money...any information would be really helpful!

Would anyone who was accepted be able to give a little insight on prereqs? Info on how you did as well as how many prereqs you had completed when applying would be extremely helpful! Thank you!

Hey everyone! I am interviewing for the midwifery specialty for the BSN/MSN program next Monday. I'm wondering if anyone who was accepted/is attending has any feedback about the interview! Really excited to come see the campus and hopefully meet some of the current students!

i took my prerequisites at a community college and got all As. I think the app is due in October - that fall semester I was taking Micro + lab, A&P I, Nutrition, and developmental psych. I took A&P II in the spring, and started at Penn that June right after finishing A&PII
