I applied for nurse-midwifery! I reached out to Sandy. She said we should hear after the first of the year about interviews/decisions

Hi there! I applied for the MSN program too! Have you heard anything back yet? Such a stressful waiting process. Which specialty did you apply for?

Columbia School of Nursing MDE 2018
Hi! I know this is a SUPER late response, but hopefully an answer will still be helpful. I took several of my prerequisites online (Microbiology with lab, statistics, and human development). It was not a problem with my application at all. Many of my classmates also took online prerequisites and they were totally fine!

Columbia School of Nursing MDE 2018
Hi! The program has been pretty good so far. It's very challenging, but we are learning so much so fast! I know that's really vague... Do you have any specific questions? I believe there are around 211 of us in this year's MDE cohort. From what I've heard about half of those will go on to do the DNP program, half will go to work as RNs!

Yale GEPN 2018
Update: I spoke with Sandy about midwifery admissions, and she said all of the accepted applicants accepted their offer, so at this time there has been no movement on the waitlist.

Columbia School of Nursing MDE 2018
Is that for tuition or for all costs? I did not attend the webinar, so it's good to have that info.. thanks!

Columbia School of Nursing MDE 2018
I think this is not quite right. When I added it up, it came out to closer to $177k total, but I could be wrong. The two semesters are for a paid residency, meaning you wont be paying tuition during that time, from what I can tell. Does anyone else have any further insight? It is a little frustrating that the financial aid email only included MDE costs. Nowhere on the website can I find an exact cost, only number of units (40 total for DNP) and the per unit cost. That's how I came to my estimate.
