U Penn Second Degree ABSN 2017

Hi Everyone! I have not seen a thread started for the UPenn ABSN 2017 cycle yet! I wanted to start one and see if anyone else out there wants to chat about it! Very excited to hear back this month!

I submitted my app on 10/14/16 and once all my LORs were submitted 10/28/16, I received an email my application was complete and under manage my account, it states my app is ready for review!

I received an interview offer for the BSN+MSN. Good luck everyone with their interviews!

My checklist still shows "materials needed" and doesn't show my transcripts or GREs have been received. Anyone else have the same?

I just received an email for my specific interview time. I am interviewing for the BSN-MSN Midwifery track.

I am excited for next week!

I applied for the ABSN and am waiting...impatiently! I had an interview with Villanova and have been accepted there, and I have to mail my deposit check by December 20. I reeeeally wanted to hear from Penn before then. I guess if I do manage to get an interview I'd still take it, but I'd hate to waste $900 securing my spot at Villanova.

All this to say: I'm so anxious to hear from Penn! Hang in there, everyone :)

To people who registered for in-person interviews, have you all received a detailed agenda and/or interview time slot? I still haven't gotten anything but I registered for an interview on Dec 13 (Women's Health BSN+MSN).

Hey all, got invited for the BSN/MSN in women's health interview a while back, registered online for a phone interview and have STILL not heard anything about when it will be held! Is anyone in the same boat? I tried emailing to follow-up but have not heard back.

Hi Everyone,

For those who have a scheduled in-person interview, can you confirm that the interview is TOMORROW, Fri Dec 9th? I flew out from the West Coast for it, and I just noticed that the most recent email I received said Mon, Dec 9th. Mini panic attack when I noticed that ha. I'm assuming it's tomorrow but hoping it's not Mon, Dec 12th. I tried calling all of the admissions numbers but no luck. Thank you!

It depends which specialty you applied for. This is the schedule they previously sent out. Did you ever get a detailed agenda from them or a specific time slot?

Friday, December 9, 2016: Adult and Gerontology Acute Care NP, Adult and Gerontology Primary Care NP, Nurse Anesthesia, Pediatric Acute Care NP (Chronic, Critical Care and Oncology Concentrations), Neonatal NP, and Nursing and Healthcare Administration Programs

I'm interviewing for CNM (which is also on the 13th) and they sent me a schedule Monday. Maybe try emailing them?

Under manage my application, then under app status, it still says "Ready for Review" since 10/28/16 which makes me think mine has not been looked at yet. (ABSN)
