Hi!
I haven't seen a thread made for the TWU Spring 2018 application process, so decided to start one! I'm the type to worry, and I know I'm not alone, so what better place to vent than here? For anyone wondering, the application date for Spring 2018 is August 15th, 2017!
My GPA comes out to a 3.720 with TWU preference. I haven't taken my TEAs yet, but plan to soon.
How about y'all?
I noticed the same thing. There used to be two online sections available, now they're gone. I tried calling yesterday, but I couldn't get through. I'll try again today!
oh okay, please update if you find out! I read that someone said if you're not in the program yet you can only take it online. I don't know if thats true or not, but I would almost rather take it on campus.
Finally received my acceptance letter from TWU so I can now move forward with my nursing application. I have a question that is probably silly, but have called the school with no luck. On the "questions" section in Nursing CAS there is a box labeled "Please list the names and semester of the courses you are currently enrolled in and/or will have completed before beginning the nursing program. Example: Introduction to Philosophy, Fall 2017 Is this only to list classes if we are still taking them or do we need to list all of our classes? If so is it only pre-requisites or every class? I wouldn't think it would be the latter since they already have all that info via our transcripts, but would like clarification before submitting. Thanks.

I was able to speak to an advisor today. The on-campus sections for pathophysiology are available for non-nursing students to take. However, the online sections are "reserved for RNs only." From what I see on my end, the only 2 on-campus sections are in Dallas and Denton. So if you live in Houston like me, taking patho in the fall won't be an option for you, unfortunately.

From what I understood, this means to only list the classes that are "in progress." Basically courses that you are currently taking and planning to take that you don't yet have grades for. All your other previous completed courses should already be included in the transcripts you sent to TWU, so they wouldn't need those from you.

Actually, you CAN take patho in the fall if you are in houston but only online. I live in houston and I'm currently enrolled in patho for fall. I went to an info session in May and the advisor said that Houston candidates are only allowed to enroll in the online class. You just need a department code to enroll which the advisor should have given to you. I'm not sure why they said its reserved for RNs only...

This is the impression I was initially under, also. I even mentioned it to the advisor, and she reassured me that online was reserved for RNs. My guess is that they recently made this change because I remember seeing two online sections available just last week (sections 50 and 51, I believe), and now they're both nonexistent when you do a search for BIOL 4344 in the fall. Hopefully, someone from admissions pops back up on here to give us some clarification. :)

You're right, there were 2 sections on there initially. When I registered, I was only allowed to choose 51, which had houston as the location and there were also only 30 spots available and now section 51 is there but there are now 50 spots total, at least when I searched it. Its also under the same teacher that I initially registered with so I think they may just have combined the sections. Idk what's going on either, I do hope they hop in here to clarify like you mentioned

In Houston, Patho is ONLY taught online.

Is anyone taking Patho in the fall at the Dallas campus? I didn't see an option for online
