Hello everyone just wanted to see if there were anymore hopeful spring 2009 applicants out there. I submitted my application already and just sitting back waiting till Nov when acceptance/rejection letters are sent out. I know they said for us to check out emails everyday in October. If anyone has been through the application process before please share your experience. Good luck to everyone :wink2:
I think the application should be up most lilkey in Dec. I know they are busy right now dealing with the spring semester applicants so I'm assuming sometime in Dec or Jan at the earliest since applications are due Feb 1. I might be in that applicant pool if I don't get in for the spring. I'm currently re-taking micro over and I'm fighting hard to keep my A in the class. I hope my new gpa will make the cut for fast track!!!
Nursing4God,What semester did you get into the program??? Wow a 3.5 acutally made the cut for TWU!!! I would think that's way too low. That gives me some hope!!! What do you like about the program so far???
I was accepted in January 07’ and my GPA was a 3.9. I honestly don’t know anyone that I have talked to that had a 3.5 GPA. The group of people that I hang with had a 3.7 or higher (there was only one person that I know that had a 3.7). In my opinion, I think a 3.8 or better is a safe. Hmmmmm.....I really like how kind and understanding the instructors are. Most of them really do care about your life outside of school and are there for you if you need them. They work with you if you have personal issues that are interfering with school.
Well, I took the majority of my prerequisites in my first degree. I went to a small private 4 year college and classes were not as easy as community college. Now, if someone who took all their prereqs at a 4 year school or at TWU, and you have a 3.9, props to you....you must have studied hard! I know that many people at the Houston campus take all their prereqs in community college and they dont make it. I know this because I have taken classes in both places. So I think for someone with a previous degree, a 3.5 should be more than good enough. If its not...I have my acceptance to UTHSCSA to fall back on. Thanks for the information, but I don't think we should be posing discouraging comments on these forums anymore. It doesn't help ones state of mind.

I have a 3.71 GPA so I can only pray that I have enough to get in!
Thank you for the info:wink2:
