Hello everyone just wanted to see if there were anymore hopeful spring 2009 applicants out there. I submitted my application already and just sitting back waiting till Nov when acceptance/rejection letters are sent out. I know they said for us to check out emails everyday in October. If anyone has been through the application process before please share your experience. Good luck to everyone :wink2:
nursetobe12,
I know how you feel. I wish they could speed up the process and let us know before early Nov. Just think we only have one more week of Oct after this one and then it's Nov!!!! I'll be checking the mail everyday that first week. I'm kinda scared now. I know Houston is my only hope and I wonder if you chose Houston as your only site will you get peference over if you chose both?? The end is almost here
today is october 20th and i am checking in to see if anybody hasreceived any news lately?
no new is good news; are we sure that is a true statement?
have a great days to those patiently and anxiously waiting!
i haven't applied to twu but did for lone star but this has made me smile, i burst out laughing here at work, people were looking at me crazy. are we sure that statement is true :chuckle let's be optimistic, hopefully it remains true for all of us.
Of course we all understand that not hearing anything doesn't mean we have been excepted. All it really means for us TWU students is that our application was complete and all requirements were met. I know a ton of people who are thrown out of the pool for not having things completed etc... We all understand that TWU accepts around roughly 60 students and have at least a 100 or more applicants so if you are accepted you were the cream of the crop for that applicant pool. Hope is all we have there nothing wrong with having some faith. :typing
Only my personal opinion, but everything in my life is about FAITH. If I did not have FAITH I am not for sure where I would be. I am not a believer in luck, destiny or karma.
If you believe in the last three variables I respect your feelings so please do not take this as a personal attack.
I have huge stories in my life to tell about Faith.
We are in this together and our goals will be reached. The problem we face as humans is that we want things on our time schedule and it just doesn't always happen that way. If you sit back and wait you actually see why your time is not always the best.
I am in the Dallas nursing program now. You will know right away if you got in if you are mailed a large packet. If you recieve just a regular letter envelope, unfortunately you are not. Don't get discouraged if you don't get in. I didn't get in the first time, but I did the second time I applied. I know someone who had to apply six times before she got in, so just stick to it no matter what. Wish you the best!
