  1. I lived in the Valley Ranch/ Las Colinas area of Irving while I went to TWU Dallas. It took me exactly 17 minutes to get to school in the morning. Plus the area is nice and crime is very low. I researched the crime stats before I moved and that was the best area for me.
  2. It is very possible! I'll pray for all of you that are trying to get in, I know that feeling. Wish ya the best!
  3. I was accepted in January 07’ and my GPA was a 3.9. I honestly don’t know anyone that I have talked to that had a 3.5 GPA. The group of people that I hang with had a 3.7 or higher (there was only one person that I know that had a 3.7). In my opinion, I think a 3.8 or better is a safe. Hmmmmm.....I really like how kind and understanding the instructors are. Most of them really do care about your life outside of school and are there for you if you need them. They work with you if you have personal issues that are interfering with school.
  4. It was 3.5, but it is best to keep a 3.8 or better.
  5. I am in the Dallas nursing program now. You will know right away if you got in if you are mailed a large packet. If you recieve just a regular letter envelope, unfortunately you are not. Don't get discouraged if you don't get in. I didn't get in the first time, but I did the second time I applied. I know someone who had to apply six times before she got in, so just stick to it no matter what. Wish you the best!
