I know it's pretty early to be starting this forum, but I just wanted to put my voice out there and see if there is anyone else out there hoping to join TWU's nursing program in the spring of 2013? What are you taking this semester (spring 2012), and when are you taking the TEAS-V entrance exam?
After this spring semester of taking microbiology, chemistry, developmental psychology, and statistics, I'll be ready to apply before the September 1st deadline! I'm hoping to take the entrance exam in the summer - probably June or July.
So yeah, I just wanted to see who else was out there!
Hi all! I am also an applicant of TWU Spring 2013, I was turned away last semester after not having my last science done before the deadline, and here I am back trying once more :) I am anxiously waiting for the "Correspondence" to begin now that the deadline has passed!

I am new to this thread, but I applied to TWU Houston for Spring 2013 and I was just curious about my stats compared to other peoples and previous years.
I have a 3.7 GPA and I got 3 out of 4 "A" first attempts, but my TEAS score was only a 73.3% so I am a little nervous how that will affect me getting in. Any insight would be great :) Thanks!!

Welcome!! Your gpa and first attempts are great! I wouldn't worry...you make a good candidate. Are you getting the bump too? I applied to Houston as well so hopefully we will get to know each other soon enough!

NOW REMEMBER this is an old schedule and things could change!! Don't expect our schedule to be exactly like this. But I hope that helps a bit. It looks like each individual schedule is just going to be different according to what section you're in.

I applied for Spring 2013 and am also playing the waiting game. November can't come soon enough :)

How are you liking your class at the Dallas campus? I am taking mine at Denton Campus.
Sometimes I feel I should have taken it at Dallas campus, but I got afraid because of the bad reviews about the professor who teaches there. But the class is hard and I imagine people maybe redirected the complaints and blamed the professor (?????) What do you think?
Hey all fellow applicants in waiting! I emailed one of the nursing advisors in Dallas inquiring on the number of applicants for the spring because a fellow classmate told me they told her around 600 but I was wondering if it was for just Dallas or Houston too. She told me they still don't know the exact amount yet after weeding out the ones that didn't qualify but it is close to 600 and that is the combined number for both Houston & Dallas! I'm relieved because it doesn't sound AS bad! Hope this news gives you SOME insight! :)

Thanks for the info! That allows me to breathe just a little better! :) 600 sounds better than previous semesters which numbers reached 800-900. =/
