TWU Spring 2013 Applicants!

Hello!:yeah:

I know it's pretty early to be starting this forum, but I just wanted to put my voice out there and see if there is anyone else out there hoping to join TWU's nursing program in the spring of 2013? What are you taking this semester (spring 2012), and when are you taking the TEAS-V entrance exam?

After this spring semester of taking microbiology, chemistry, developmental psychology, and statistics, I'll be ready to apply before the September 1st deadline! I'm hoping to take the entrance exam in the summer - probably June or July.

So yeah, I just wanted to see who else was out there!

I took the TEAS earlier today and gooodnesss why do I have to wait 48 hours for my score!? How much time did you all wait?

I thought the English part of the test was okay; the math very similar to the study guide; but I feel I had a couple outlandish questions on the science...so I'm worried about that. I ran out of time on the math and forgot to answer a question I had marked. But there are a couple of questions per section that aren't graded???

So I don't know if those questions are the first few questions or randomly placed... hopefully they are the ones I missed!

Isn't it a great feeling to have it done??? :D With my TEAS, I got the score the very next day at 7pm...so you may get it today! Good luck!

I feel like I can't do anything today except check "my results" every 15 minutes.:bugeyes:

Haha, I know! I'm almost scared to look, but now I'm really anxious knowing it could show up today!

I think they USUALLY post the scores at 7:00 pm the following day...it seems to be a trend.

Hey guys - I got an 84.7% on my TEAS V...pretty disappointed with that. Actually did well on everything except Math.

On the plus side - I got 100% on Human Body Science so at least AP 1 and 2 was worth it :)

Just got home from work and rushed home to see if my score was up yet. I got a 91.3%!!!!!! I am so relieved that is over and done with. Now I can breathe easy! Nanerz, I think your score is great! The advisor said an 80% or above is a competitive score, so I would be happy with anything over 80 for sure. :yelclap: GO us!!

Ok :) I meet with my advisor on Tuesday so if he thinks I should retake it I will if not then I'm done!
