I know it's pretty early to be starting this forum, but I just wanted to put my voice out there and see if there is anyone else out there hoping to join TWU's nursing program in the spring of 2013? What are you taking this semester (spring 2012), and when are you taking the TEAS-V entrance exam?
After this spring semester of taking microbiology, chemistry, developmental psychology, and statistics, I'll be ready to apply before the September 1st deadline! I'm hoping to take the entrance exam in the summer - probably June or July.
So yeah, I just wanted to see who else was out there!
@heyjude91: Yes, at Dallas. There are senior nursing students that volunteer their time. Also, nursing school provides free tutorials. Something to look forward to in 2013 is that all J1 (junior- 1st semester) students are assigned a faculty mentor and a senior student mentor.
He was due yesterday. Lol. I guess he's not ready to come out yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he'll come out by the end of the week though. It's my first though so I guess I expected him to be late.
I think we should start a Patho forum for those of us taking McArthur's Monday lecture at TWU/Dallas this fall 2012. I hope @Dentonite, @kmlnielsen, @rosa41988lovesu, and any others will check it out. That way we can maintain this forum by @ambrekai for TWU Spring 2013 application discussions.

Has anyone taken the TEAS just by using the "5 TEAS Practice Book" and not ATI?? It's all I'm planning on using and I'm not sure how te actual test is in comparison.

Are you talking about the McGraw Hill book? That's the only thing I used, and I thought it was pretty similar to the actual test as far as the format goes. I only studied using that a week before I took the TEAS and made a 96.
