I know it's pretty early to be starting this forum, but I just wanted to put my voice out there and see if there is anyone else out there hoping to join TWU's nursing program in the spring of 2013? What are you taking this semester (spring 2012), and when are you taking the TEAS-V entrance exam?
After this spring semester of taking microbiology, chemistry, developmental psychology, and statistics, I'll be ready to apply before the September 1st deadline! I'm hoping to take the entrance exam in the summer - probably June or July.
So yeah, I just wanted to see who else was out there!
Thank you! Yes it's VERY nice to be done with it and (relatively) worry-free until November. But before you know it, you will be too! The deadline is fast approaching, and then we'll ALL be in the same place of waiting & worrying!
I didn't know you were already a current student at TWU! No, you don't have to do anything with your transcripts then. They'll already be updated in student records when the nursing school admissions coordinators pull them up. You're good to go!
Whew! One less thing that I have to do. I'm glad you made this forum and you seem to know everything! Though I don't think anyone is complaining. =) Class is over and finished with A'ssss! Current GPA is now 3.9 but still have this test to take next week. =/ It's nerve-wrecking guys! Back on to studying now...

Haha I don't know everything...I wish! I only know about the transcripts because I am also a current student at TWU and I had that exact same question. I emailed the admissions coordinator earlier in the summer about that, and that's what she told me :)
Great job on the summer classes!! I'm sure that is a huge weight lifted off your shoulders. You're going to do great on the TEAS, I have no doubt. Study hard and look up everything you don't know!

Are you talking about the McGraw Hill book? That's the only thing I used, and I thought it was pretty similar to the actual test as far as the format goes. I only studied using that a week before I took the TEAS and made a 96.
