TWU Fast Track Summer '09

Is anyone out there applying for the fast track program starting in the summer for the Dallas campus? I am applying. Will have my pre-reqs completed in January. I am very stressed about them only accepting 30 students!!! Does anyone have any thoughts, concerns, anything??!? I think I am going crazy waiting for April to come to know if I got in or not! :bugeyes:

I have talked with an advisor today, around 300 applicants for 30 spots.

Let's be positive. In 2007 the cut off GPA was 3.7.

I can't wait for the first week of March.

If that ends up being the cut off this time, I'll be a happy camper.

Ouch....300 applicants? All I can say is...WOW. I'm not sure which to be more stressed about the GPA or the NET?!

oh man, 300 applicants? do you know if they were all eligible, or does that number also include everyone who hasn't finished pre-reqs, etc.? an advisor told me last year that they had about 100 applicants in 2007, not all of who were qualified, so there's been a 200% increase in the number of applicants over 2007. yeah, i'm with aggienurse...starting to feel a little queasy...staying positive, though, always positive. march can't get here soon enough.

So we find out in March? I thought it was sometime this month

I was told we would find out sometime the first part of March, but that was before there were so many applicants. Judging by past history, I'd say we're looking at the end of March, but that's just my guess. They also said the application would be available in December, and it didn't come up until January 5, if I remember correctly.

I'm just sitting tight and trying not to stress about it. No sense in worrying about things I cannot control! (Not that I'm terribly successful at not worrying about things I cannot control, but I'm trying!)
