TWU Fast Track Summer '09

Is anyone out there applying for the fast track program starting in the summer for the Dallas campus? I am applying. Will have my pre-reqs completed in January. I am very stressed about them only accepting 30 students!!! Does anyone have any thoughts, concerns, anything??!? I think I am going crazy waiting for April to come to know if I got in or not! :bugeyes:

so...how's everybody doing? haven't seen any activity here in a while.

yeah, it is exciting. i'm working through the end of next week. have you gotten all your supplies and everything in order?

ehhh not quite everything. I'm ordering used books and still have some of those to get, along with the Clicker thingy. Been trying to find the most comfy all-white shoes as possible! That was tough for me! Getting my patches sewn on the the tops. Gotta start reading the 8 chapters - luckily they're short. Did they say there's no food available on campus?

i went with all black shoes. i emailed them about it and confirmed that black was good. it was easier to find black shoes rather than white, for me, anyway. i'm having trouble finding decent quantities of maroon pants that fit on me ok. i think the unisex stuff is still designed with women in mind, and they just feel weird to me, so i've been trying to track down enough men's pants. i think i finally found a good source, though.

i thought they said there was no food on campus, and that area of town doesn't seem to have much in the way of food, either, but i can't really remember. i know they talked about the cafeteria in the new building, but that doesn't help us any. looks like i'll be brownbagging lunches again.

have you been able to access any of the classes yet on blackboard? i thought they said some of the classes would be accessible last week, but i guess i may have heard that wrong.

Hey guys, I haven't been in here in a while. Regarding the food situation, I'll probably just be bringing leftovers with me most days, as they said we'll have refrigerators and microwaves available. Keep in mind, also, that there are several hospitals within walking distance so those cafeterias are available as well.

Hope you guys are doing alright in Fast Track! Been thinking about you since I'm right there taking Patho this summer...And freaking out about it.
