This is for students applying to TWU Dallas for Fall 2014 :)

Hey guys! I noticed that there wasn't a Fall 2014 page yet... Probably because its not for another year but I thought I would start one!

I'm currently attending North Central Texas College and I'm about to start my last semester of required prereqs, and I'm taking a CNA class this fall!

I've attended an open house at TWU Denton & Dallas; I absolutely love the campus and the staff seems so friendly! I'm really excited to attend TWU. Hopefully I'll be in Dallas for the nursing program, but if life does not take me in that direction--I'll make my way for a Physical Therapy degree!

I'm sooo excited to start nursing classes and spend time in the hospitals. I'm on this website all the time and I hope there are some people on here applying the same time as me so we can support each other :-)

Did they tell u how far on the waitlist u were at?

I was told to be about 20th on the list. Sectional scores of the TEAS do matter

I'm applying the Houston campus and I just got my transcripts updated 5 days ago even though I sent them way before the deadline. Will my application still be considered?

Acceptance letters sent out yesterday. Well at least for the Weeknight/Weekend Program. Check your school email on pioneer portal!

I got my acceptance to the weekend program. I'm happy and scared at the same time. Looking forward to beginning a new and exciting journey.

Congratulations rlmom!!! Can I ask how you received your acceptance and what were your stats? Also, was this the first time you applied to the program? Thanks for responding!

Thank you so much. I am so excited!!! I received an email in my pioneer portal account. The email also stated I would receive a letter in the mail with the same info as the email. This was my first time applying and this is the only school I applied to.

My stats are:

GPA 3.9

3/4 first time A's

TEAS 78.7

Previous degree

Congratulations rlmom! Looks like we will be in class together! I'm very excited to be in the weekend evening program. This will be my first degree so I was happy when I heard they opened it up to everyone. Are you taking patho this summer or will you be taking it in the fall?

Congratulations MedicNR! I didn't know they opened it to everyone this time. I wanted to do the weekend/evening program because I need to continue to work. I plan to do patho this summer. How about you?

I am taking patho over the summer as well. I'm trying to decide if I am going to take it online over the long summer or on campus over summer 1. I've heard Dr. McArthur is an amazing instructor and I really don't want to miss out on learning from her, but patho is an intense class and taking it in 4 weeks is intimidating.

I will be taking it online. Since they have the class during the day I can't take it on class. I have to work.

. Was wondering what your stats were. I have a 3.75 and with the extra bump for having 17 + hours at TWU then I thought I had a 4.0.
