This is for students applying to TWU Dallas for Fall 2014 :)

Hey guys! I noticed that there wasn't a Fall 2014 page yet... Probably because its not for another year but I thought I would start one!

I'm currently attending North Central Texas College and I'm about to start my last semester of required prereqs, and I'm taking a CNA class this fall!

I've attended an open house at TWU Denton & Dallas; I absolutely love the campus and the staff seems so friendly! I'm really excited to attend TWU. Hopefully I'll be in Dallas for the nursing program, but if life does not take me in that direction--I'll make my way for a Physical Therapy degree!

I'm sooo excited to start nursing classes and spend time in the hospitals. I'm on this website all the time and I hope there are some people on here applying the same time as me so we can support each other :-)

I was accepted to the TWU Dallas program starting Spring 2015 and have a question for all of you about clinical sites. We just received an email asking that we rank the programs, but we were only given locations. I much rather rank on merit or experience so I would love any information you have on the locations. The ones given to us were South Dallas, North Dallas, Central Dallas, Plano, Irving, and Grapevine. Thank you so much for any help you can offer!

Your post is incredibly helpful! I was recently accepted to the spring 2015 program and am hoping you can help with another question. Do you have any information on Clinicals? We were asked to rank our preference but were only given locations. I would much rather rank on merit and experience, I don't mind driving a bit further if I get a great clinical experience. I am new to the message boards, so I don't know how to private message but if you know how I would be happy to send you my email address. Thanks so much for your help with this!

I applied as well for Spring 2015 and haven't heard anything from them.

Hello everyone!

I have a question concerning prerequisites. I need to complete 2 courses in order to be entirely done with the pre-reqs. Does anyone know if Humanities can be substituted for the Visual Arts requirement? Has anyone taken another course that fulfilled that requirement? Also, do we need philosophy or can we substitute an upper level English course? I'm currently enrolled in ART 1301 and PHIL 1301, but I still would like to clarify all of this...Thanks!!

were the practice tests comparable to the actual teas v?? Ive taken one practice test its pretty in depth and i take the teas in a week!
