This is for students applying to TWU Dallas for Fall 2014 :)
Hey guys! I noticed that there wasn't a Fall 2014 page yet... Probably because its not for another year but I thought I would start one!
I'm currently attending North Central Texas College and I'm about to start my last semester of required prereqs, and I'm taking a CNA class this fall!
I've attended an open house at TWU Denton & Dallas; I absolutely love the campus and the staff seems so friendly! I'm really excited to attend TWU. Hopefully I'll be in Dallas for the nursing program, but if life does not take me in that direction--I'll make my way for a Physical Therapy degree!
I'm sooo excited to start nursing classes and spend time in the hospitals. I'm on this website all the time and I hope there are some people on here applying the same time as me so we can support each other :-)
Tell me about yourself!

Oh my god..... there are so many smart people apply for nursing program... it is going to be very competitive...
I am transferring from Northlake College to Dallas campus. My overall GPA is 3.78... and TEAS score is 71.8.....
OMG.. I am screwed... and I only applied for TWU.. Is there any other nursing school that I can apply more?
Nursing schools are limited in dallas... hope there are more nursing schools in our area.

Do you have any first attempt A's? At the information meeting they said the average stats of accepted students is 3.8GPA, 85% on TEAS, and 3/4 first attempt A's. I would suggest looking into the ADN programs at community colleges. But, every program in the DFW area is going to be extremely competitive.
I have all first attempts.
A= A&P 1,2, General BIOL 1
B= MicroBIOL, General BIOL 2, psychology 1,2 , nutrition
I am worried about TEAS score... so bad.
Wish I can take it again and replace score.
I know that there are very few nursing schools in Dallas.
West Coast University, TWU, Arlington.... what else???

Hey all! I am applying for fall 2014 when is everyone taking the teas! ? Has anyone purchased the online tools for the teas? I'm thinking of doing that over the weekend just to see where I stand ..
Are you applying to the tech program too? I bet you will do fine! :)
I take the teas on dec. 19! I wanted to make sure I had time to study for it. My dad bought me the online study tests and the study manual book, but I havent used the tests yet. The book is great and thats what the advisor recommends!
Btw, the online tests are supposedly harder than the real one so that should give you a good idea. :)

I don't think I will have the stats to get into TWU, but I may apply anyway. So I am following this thread to see the statistics of applicants who are accepted.
Good luck y'all!
