This is for students applying to TWU Dallas for Fall 2014 :)

Hey guys! I noticed that there wasn't a Fall 2014 page yet... Probably because its not for another year but I thought I would start one!

I'm currently attending North Central Texas College and I'm about to start my last semester of required prereqs, and I'm taking a CNA class this fall!

I've attended an open house at TWU Denton & Dallas; I absolutely love the campus and the staff seems so friendly! I'm really excited to attend TWU. Hopefully I'll be in Dallas for the nursing program, but if life does not take me in that direction--I'll make my way for a Physical Therapy degree!

I'm sooo excited to start nursing classes and spend time in the hospitals. I'm on this website all the time and I hope there are some people on here applying the same time as me so we can support each other :-)

Awesome! Good to hear I have a couple other pre-nursing students joining me this semester. Ladyflyer58, when you purchased the text book did it come with the online access code? Or did they say you just need the text book? I bought the study guide book already, was thinking about renting the text book, but I didn't want to have to turn around and spend more money on an access code if it's required.

Congrats on your good TEAS score, txswhite08! I hope I do well. I took one of my online practice tests and it wasn't too bad... but still want to improve my score. Study study study :) all I can do. I'm so nervous!

anyone knows how long does it take for TWU to receive TEAS score form ATI?

Hey everybody!! My name is Charlotte and I'm just wondering how I stack up against everybody. I actually wonder if I even stand a chance. My stats are: 3.6 GPA, 2/4 first attempts, and I take my TEAS V exam this Saturday. I'm applying to TWU Houston and A&M College Station programs. Does anyone know if TWU needs me to resend my transcript, if I'm a current student at the Denton campus? By the way, what does the TWU Science GPA consist of? Thank you to anybody who answers my questions and I really hope we get into the programs we apply to. :)

Hey everyone!

So I just took my TEAS and i'm not very pleased with my score =/ (77.8%). I'm needing some suggestions. I have a 3.72 gpa and 3/4 preference courses. Is it in my best interest to apply to TWU Houston, or do I have a decent shot of making it into TWU Dallas?

PS: I'm taking Patho at the TWU Denton campus.

The overall GPA is what they look at and thats all their required prereqs. You get a preference for first attempt A's in A&P 1/2, micro, and stats!

Hi everyone,

I just took the TEAS and wasn't very happy with my score. I made a 78. I thought I did pretty good on the exam but I was wrong. My GPA is 3.8, 3/4 attempt As, and currently taking pathophysiology in the Dallas campus. When I spoke with an advisor before she told me that I just need to get 80 on the TEAS and guaranteed that I would be accepted but that was before I decided to take Pathophysiology in advance. I am really hoping that I'll get accepted this fall.

BTW, this was was second time taking the TEAS and the science questions were just random. There were more chemistry questions than the first time I took the test. Really threw me off.

I was wondering how we send updated transcripts? When I applied, I was not finished with the Fall 2013 semester so I had classes in progress. Now I want to send an updated transcript but I'm not quite sure how. Does anyone know? Thanks!

I think it's the same way you send your first transcripts. I just had my old school send mine electronically, they usually charge, but I'm pretty sure it's just the same process as when you send them the first time.

Just got my TEAS score back, 92.7%, woohoo! So my stats are ... 3.9 GPA, 3/4 first attempt A's and 92.7% TEAS.

So nervous! Good luck to everyone!
