This is for students applying to TWU Dallas for Fall 2014 :)

Hey guys! I noticed that there wasn't a Fall 2014 page yet... Probably because its not for another year but I thought I would start one!

I'm currently attending North Central Texas College and I'm about to start my last semester of required prereqs, and I'm taking a CNA class this fall!

I've attended an open house at TWU Denton & Dallas; I absolutely love the campus and the staff seems so friendly! I'm really excited to attend TWU. Hopefully I'll be in Dallas for the nursing program, but if life does not take me in that direction--I'll make my way for a Physical Therapy degree!

I'm sooo excited to start nursing classes and spend time in the hospitals. I'm on this website all the time and I hope there are some people on here applying the same time as me so we can support each other :-)

Hey guys, I am applying with a 4.0 and 3/4 As on first attempt and 88 on the TEAS and still nervous! I also applied for Tech and I'm really torn on where to go if I have to choose between them. Does anyone know how Tech compares to TWU Dallas?

Hey rmaze! I considered tech. Think about where you want to work after graduation, TWU does rotations at all the med city hospitals and that can open doors for you. I don't know much about the Lubbock area. I ultimately chose TWU cause it was more affordable for me.

Hi everyone! So, before the application deadline, I sent two updated official transcripts to TWU electronically (as I did initially). It's been 11 days since the nursing school deadline and about two weeks since I sent the official transcripts yet my unofficial transcript at TWU has not been updated. Is this normal? Or should I probably give TWU a call?

It could take a couple weeks or longer for them to update the transcript but you need to make sure they had been sent. You should check your twu email, they would let you know if they haven't received it

They would send acceptance through email first, mails are sent afterward

They took 4 weeks to update my last transcripts that I sent electronically. At the 4 week mark, I emailed them to make sure there wasn't a problem and it got updated that same day.

Per the TWU website, I emailed [email protected]. It took them 2 days to respond, I think you can also call if you need more urgent attention. Up to you :).

hi everyone :) So Im extremely nervous. Last semester i applied with 3/4 preferences, 3.85 gpa, and 74 teas score but didnt get in. I was 21st on the waiting list. This semester im applying with a 3.86 gpa and a 81.3 on teas...does anyone know any students that made it with these stats? i cant wait another semester :/

I'm applying to TWU at Dallas this Fall also; this is actually my second time. I didn't get in last time for Spring 2014 with 3.8 GPA, 3/4 first attempts, and 80 for TEAS. i have just got the result for my second time taking TEAS test, not so impressive cuz i just got 88, i dont know if i can get in this time! Crossing fingers! Hope everyone here will get in!

Did they tell u how far on the waitlist u were at?
