TWU Dallas Fall 2014 Applicants

Published

This is for students applying to TWU Dallas for Fall 2014 :)

Hey guys! I noticed that there wasn't a Fall 2014 page yet... Probably because its not for another year but I thought I would start one!

I'm currently attending North Central Texas College and I'm about to start my last semester of required prereqs, and I'm taking a CNA class this fall!

I've attended an open house at TWU Denton & Dallas; I absolutely love the campus and the staff seems so friendly! I'm really excited to attend TWU. Hopefully I'll be in Dallas for the nursing program, but if life does not take me in that direction--I'll make my way for a Physical Therapy degree!

I'm sooo excited to start nursing classes and spend time in the hospitals. I'm on this website all the time and I hope there are some people on here applying the same time as me so we can support each other :-)

Tell me about yourself!

Just curious how many times it took to get accepted and your stats?

I'm going to Dallas campus. This is my second time.

Around 3.8 GPA

3/4 first attempts

88 TEAS

Good for you! You stayed with it ! What was the difference this time vs. before?

I improved TEAS score from 80 to 88

WOO got accepted to Dallas Campus

Just got my acceptance to Dallas via email this morning. I'm so glad it is over with.

Stats:

3/4 First attempt A's

78 TEAS

3.86 GPA

Congrats rmaze!

I know a student who has similar stats applying for the 3rd time. Why are some accepted and others not?

Think they changed their acceptance policy for future applicants.

Got my acceptance email yesterday morning! First time applying... Stats: 3.9GPA, 3/4 preferences and 92.7 TEAS.

Congrats to to everyone that made it in and good luck to those still waiting to hear!

The change is for the next application period, not the Fall of 2014 applicants.

The preference's are removed and a minimum of 64% on each of the TEAS scores is the change.

Eligibility will be ranked based on GPA, TEAS scores, with consideration for those who have earned at least half of their prerequisites from the TWU (the bump) and those who have a prior bachelor's degree.

congrats KNicole1202 !
