TWU Dallas Fall 2014 Applicants

Published

This is for students applying to TWU Dallas for Fall 2014 :)

Hey guys! I noticed that there wasn't a Fall 2014 page yet... Probably because its not for another year but I thought I would start one!

I'm currently attending North Central Texas College and I'm about to start my last semester of required prereqs, and I'm taking a CNA class this fall!

I've attended an open house at TWU Denton & Dallas; I absolutely love the campus and the staff seems so friendly! I'm really excited to attend TWU. Hopefully I'll be in Dallas for the nursing program, but if life does not take me in that direction--I'll make my way for a Physical Therapy degree!

I'm sooo excited to start nursing classes and spend time in the hospitals. I'm on this website all the time and I hope there are some people on here applying the same time as me so we can support each other :-)

Tell me about yourself!

thanks txtri02! I will definitely check out the area north of twu and irving.

I also live in the north Irving area near 635 and MacArthur. It's probably a 20minute drive at most. Great area as wel, close to everything!

congrats KNicole1202 !

Thank you txtri! And congrats to you on the night/wknd program! It makes taking Patho a little more worth it. Well, minus my new gray hair from studying for next week's test, lol.

I got accepted to TWU Dallas as well! I'm so happy! :)

Would you share your stats?

4.0 GPA

4/4 preferences

91 on TEAS

Oh and no TWU Bump or prior degree

anyone taking patho? i need some advice about it

I am taking it--what do you need help with?

Is it a good idea for me to take it during summer? Do I need to go thru any orientation before signing up for that class? (I tried to look up the class on webadvisor but it doesn't let me find class yet)

I think it depends on your circumstances. If you are going to work during the summer, I definitely wouldn't take it then. Unless it was 8 weeks--it might be more doable then. registration for summer hasn't opened yet but you could contact the college of nursing and get their advice. Many students take it their first semester of nursing school and do just fine :)
