Trump Organization and Top Executive Are Indicted in Tax Investigation

Quote

A grand jury in Manhattan has indicted Donald J. Trump’s family business, the Trump Organization, and one of its top executives in connection with a tax investigation into fringe benefits handed out at the company, people familiar with the matter said on Wednesday.

The specific charges against the company and its chief financial officer, Allen H. Weisselberg, were not immediately clear. The indictment was expected to be unsealed Thursday afternoon after Mr. Weisselberg and lawyers for the Trump Organization appear in court....

Trumps taxes were always being audited--- well NY state DID review the past 15 years per  above report. Remember how Trump knows more about taxes and the picture of him with a 4ft high pile???  Well his "knowledge" may be missing some sections of the Tax code.

This is a question I've asked many times, how do these people classify Republican voters.  Many (most) on the left place everyone on the right in the same category,  and use the terms Republican, conservative, and Trump voter, among others, interchangably.

So yes, I have to agree with him on this.

Fine. Agree with him.

I don't lump all conservatives into a single group.  I lump Trump supporters into a single group.  Beerman is clearly a Trump supporter, he gets grouped with other Americans who disparage others for what they ignore, excuse or defend from Trump.  They are hypocrites as is relatively obvious from their remarks.

At the end of the day I don't lump them all into a single group with the same qualities. Many of are good patriotic, honest and hard working people.  In fact I'd like to think they are the overwhelming majority.  They all obviously don't have the qualities as those extremists on the right.  At the end of the day nearly 75 million people voted for him, so it's their lot in life to have to be lumped together with the negativity associated with him.

The Trump brand includes all of those unsavory and plain unacceptable Trump attitudes and behaviors that Trump supporters do not want associated with their own character or judgement. At the end of the day...everyone of those Trump voters decided that lying, sexual infidelity, financial irresponsibility, abuse of power, etc was acceptable and they supported the Liar who now continues to promote the lie that threatens our republic.  They either support a corrupt despot, or they support the constitution. Yeah...they're all in the same group.  Maybe they aren't the ones who understand what they are supporting with their defense of Trumpian politics. They're definitely all in the Trump club.

First of all, these colors don't run, that is why we have July 4th to celebrate.  Secondly, Trump Supporters are monolithic because they believe everything their Fuhrer says and they never question or take a stance against Trump.  Thus, one can paint a Trump supporter as a white supremacists because Trump only has one goal for this country and that is in support of white supremacy.

Trump is not in support of the Constitution of the United States and definitely not in support of the American ideal that are represented by the American flag.  So, ironically, Trump supporters show everyday how Anti-American they really are.  For example, Trump supporters' invasion of the US Capitol on January 6 is very much ANTI-AMERICA and anti-the US Constitution.

By the way, not all Republicans support the fascist Trump.  Only Trump supporters are confused by that fact.  Your Fuhrer says you guys are simply conservatives and/or Republicans while the rest of the world is made up of "radical leftist" and "Marxist".  This is not true.  True conservatives are anti-Trump because he is ANTI-AMERICAN.  Thus, true conservatives are also not interested in having a totalitarian dictator as president again.  And so, true conservatives have joined the rest of America to continue to fight for this democracy.

The rest of America is fighting for inclusion, diversity, and freedom and justice for all.  That of course means a fight against Trump, his supporters, and his apologist!  We, the rest of America, out number you, Trump supporters.  And we, the rest of America, won't give up and won't stop fighting because we know that the stakes are too high.  In other words, our colors won't run!

First, do you have any idea what the phrase "strikes colors and withdraws from the field of battle" refers to?  If not, I suggest your perform a quick internet search and educate yourself.  If you do, hopefully you can determine what I am saying.

Second, do not ever again consider me a Trump supporter and direct any of this tripe to me; particularly the "Your Furhrer" comment, as this is most offensive.  You including this in a response in which you have quoted me is sufficient evidence for me to conclude that you are doing so.  And, and as I know I've mentioned this before, I will report continued posts along these lines as a violation of the terms of service.

I find Trump offensive, I find his ideas dangerous and offensive, and I find posters continued support of those ideas offensive.  I will continue to point out what Trump is and his connection to the white supremacy movement. Maybe you should educate yourself.

You obviously didn't read or understand my previous post.  Also, show me where I've supported him.

Moving forward, when you reference me in these posts, I will report it as offensive.  Although, I doubt it will do any good.

Although, you have not actually stated you are not a Trump supporter, I will not reference you as a Trump supporter since you are implying that you are not.

Withdraw from discussion if you prefer, @chare but it's not us who is insisting that all conservatives somehow get lumped in with Trumpers. Trump supporters identify themselves by their relentless defense of Trump. Republican voters who support Trumper politicians identify themselves, although they prefer not to think about how voting for a congressional Trumpublican furthers Trump's lies about our elections and the undermining of our democratic processes (while also reflecting on the voter's priorities). In those cases we are to believe that "conservative values" are more important than dangerous lies about dangerous ideas to those republican (but not Trump supporting) voters.

No one is going to suggest that Liz Cheney is a Trumper, she's made it clear that she's not.  It seems to be more difficult for most republicans to make that clear.

Yes, I have.  However, since you obviously missed it I'll say it again.  SummerGarde, I am not a Trump supporter.
