Felling nervous and anxious. My scheduled test time was at 2pm- I am not a morning person at all.
I got there very early-12:30 I was able to go ahead and test so I actually finished at 2:30.
There was 1 other person in the when I started and the room was filled when I left.
I did the Pearson vue trick and according to that I passed but I don't want to get too happy until I get my "official" results.
Still anxiously waiting.....

CONGRATULATIONS!!! From what I've read (and experienced through taking my NCLEX-PN) the PVT works!!! Pat yourself on the back and go celebrate! What was your study routine and what materials did you use to study? I will be taking my NCLEX-RN hopefully at the begining of July and could use all the advice I can get!

I'm in the same position- took mine yesterday (for there an hour early and left before my scheduled time of 2PM!). Good pop up. Fingers crossed for us both!!
I took the Kaplan review with my school live. It was 4 days. Kaplan suggests that you take NCLEX 3 weeks after that class so I scheduled 3 weeks out.
After the class:
I did 30- 100 questions via Kaplan QBank daily (I work and have 2 small children)
Downloaded the Kaplan free app and did more questions in my "spare time."
After doing the NCLEX practice tests- I would go through the whole test's rationales and ANYTHING I got right by a guess I looked up and of course if I got it wrong I looked it up, & took the exam again without the notes to make sure I retained it. (Not for every test though).
I used the Kaplan content book to "look up" info as well as google.
I reviewed the pharmacy section in the Kaplan content book but it's sooo much information.
I reviewed Math problems. I remember getting a math question wrong and it was because I didn't convert mcg to mg.... glad it was a practice test! lol
I reviewed assessment videos online
I didn't use the Kaplan videos. I tried...couldn't do it. I hear some people love them though.
I will say the NCLEX practice tests really helped me I think, they are timed, and the rationals seem to be more thorough than the Q bank rationales.
ALSO, just saying I emailed a Kaplan rep last week and he/she told me I wasn't ready to test and to reschedule based on my scores BUT she also gave me some helpful study tips and helped me get on track with studying so it was discouraging to hear that but helpful.
THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE CONGRATS!!!!

Congrats!! GO CELEBRATE
I take mine July 3rd and I'm literally a nervous wreck.
I'm using Mary Ann Hogan Comprehensive Review for NCLEX
LaCharity PDA
and Kaplan Q-Trainer and Q-Bank. Those videos put me to sleep,
I find that I'm weak in SATA, and some of meds
was it anything out of the norm.

Hello,
I am nervous reck. I feel I am doing kaplan questions and running out of them way to soon. You said your kaplan lady said to reschedule your date because of your scores. Do you mind sharing? What did you find worked and didn't work for you
At the time I got the email from the Kaplan person I was making in the 50's on the qbanks but I was taking 30-50 questions at a time.
She said I had not remediated enough meaning I had not gone back through the readiness test or the diagnostic test and I hadn't completed the NCLEX sample tests 4-7. I needed to do more. By their calculation I was in the YELLOW which mean almost but not quite ready to sit for NCLEX.
She said all Qbanks I choose to do should be at least 75 questions because that's the least amount of questions that I can get on NCLEX.
She said my diagnostic and readiness test were good but the averages of everything else I had done was not up to 65%. That scared me!! NLCEX samples tests 1-4 I did prior to talking with the Kaplan woman plus she could see the Qbank stuff I had done and some of those score were in the 40's-50's.
NCLEX Sample 7 =66.4%
NCLEX Sample 6= 62.5%
NCLEX Sample 4 alternate: 30%, then 30%, then 72%...this was the test that ALL SATA
NCLEX Sample test 5= 64.7%
NCLEX Sample test 3=49%
NCLEX Sample test 2=34% THEN 62.7%
NCLEX Sample test 1=52%
Diagnostic: 66.7%
Readiness: 64.4%
