Taking 3rd NCLEX 9/15/14
So I empathize with you. I graduated on June 12th, took it June 26th got 265 and failed. Waited exactly 45 days, took it and was out in 75 questions within 45 minutes. Just got hired today at a major hospital. Listen, you really need to sit back and analyze how you approach this material. Look at the PCR- are you near passing or passing in all areas? Listen I know the road seems long and rough, but you need to go back to the drawing board. If you need content go back through the Saunders and then use questions to re-validate what you've read. Then use Kaplan Q-Bank for a challenge. You really have to approach that exam like your taking a Kaplan test. I swear, I took the fear out of it.

2nd Attempt Shut off at 75!
@dbrenda1510 Review the areas you think you may be weak in. Do questions to solidify the content! Most importantly keep calm, treat it like a practice exam and pray!

2nd Attempt Shut off at 75!
Hey to my allnurses community! I would like to first say thanks to everyone on here who has contributed in some way or another, you guy's don't know how beneficial reading your methods has helped. My Story I graduated June 12th and took my exam June 26th, went straight to 265. After getting the bad pop-up, I realized the worst had happened and all I could do is plan to do better. I told myself in exactly 45 days, I would seek to re-test and stuck to my guns. So 8/12/14, I went back in and the computer shut-off at 75! Good-Pop Up. Many people probably would like to know what did I do? I did probably the same thing you're doing as a matter of fact you're probably a little smarter than me. Not calling myself a dummy, but I didn't do a bunch of questions like everyone emphasizes. I watched Hurst Videos and did the QReview, purchased a Saunders review book 6E and pretty much read from cover to cover with special emphasis on my weak areas. With YouTube being my great ally so I could witness certain procedures such as the Allen's Test. Also, my greatest contributing factor was actually giving it to GOD and trusting that he has designed the universe and thus knows the outcome to my life. The atheists and non-believers say you don't need GOD. But it clearly was with his guidance. Trust me give it to him.

My exam is 8/12/2014; Am I ready?
To my all nurses community, I graduated on June 12th and took my exam on June 26th. I received all 265 questions, took no breaks, finished in 4 hours and got the cc page:(. I wasn't devastated; however I was confused after getting the PCR with near passing in all categories. Like other posters have mentioned it may not be content. I'm not sure if I didn't read all the questions concisely or was just plain nervous. So far I bought the Saunders 6E, read almost from cover to cover. Did a few questions but they seem rather easy. I also reactivated HURST watched all videos took notes; and did 4 of the Q-Reviews: 79/125, 82/125, 86/125, 89/ 125.. I'm still reviewing and I'm wondering if I should push it back or go in full force. Any Thoughts?

NCLEX week.... prayer anyone?
My test is July 3rd, don't question what you've been called to do. Becoming a nurse is unlike most professions, it's a calling. Let's remove the doubts and cast negativity away from our minds, and go in there with a clear conscious! Remember YOU are the NURSE. If you don't believe it make it your affirmation when you look in the mirror.

Why is this question always asked?
@RNsRWE I may have posed a similar question, mainly to seek clarification and get advice. All nursing schools don't teach at the same level; hence some schools wouldn't be on Academic Probation. I sense arrogance in your question, but maybe that's not you're intention. The NCLEX-RN has been magnified to be a challenging exam! How do you expect a novice nursing student even a straight A student to know what program works best without getting a personal testimony. Every program purports to be the best with a money back guarantee! How would one know to seek a content based review, if they already believe they are sufficient with content. Why would one seek a strategies-decision based review if someone always performed well on tests? Hell why even study!!! People are anxious they want to succeed, and they want all the information they can use. Sometimes people may overlook or undervalue a review, it may prompt them to check it out. So congratulations on your achievements, but realize we want to be where you are.

Took (today) NCLEX June 19, 2014
Congrats!! GO CELEBRATE I take mine July 3rd and I'm literally a nervous wreck. I'm using Mary Ann Hogan Comprehensive Review for NCLEX LaCharity PDA and Kaplan Q-Trainer and Q-Bank. Those videos put me to sleep, I find that I'm weak in SATA, and some of meds was it anything out of the norm.

RN EXIT 2014
I was able to pass my version one test, with lots of anxiety but minimal stress. I suggest everyone who hasn't taken it yet to purchase the green hesi book and review content. Doing questions all day is good, but i suggest learning the content. If you have any questions and havent taken it yet feel free to pm me.
