I recieved the "big envelope" on monday, the 30th. I was devastated, couldnt stop crying. I feel so depressed, don't know what to think. The performance letter made me even sadder. I was "above passing" in all categories except for two which were marked "nearly passing". I don't know what to think, i feel I can't study again for this....or how much more can I =(
I reapplied and sent the form about and hour after I opened it. The 45 day wait.. does it count from the day u took the first exam or after they recieve your re-app? i can't wait so long again.....
I also took the test for the 1st time on 4/17, got all 265 questions and when my results were sent I was "near passing" in all categories. I plan on taking the test again in June also. I am also devastated but I feel that I truly underestimated the test. I am truly grateful for getting through nursing school with no downfalls and am preparing with Suzannes plan for "Round #2" ha ha! Keep your chin up, I know WE CAN DO IT!!!!
RNTOBE2007,
I found the test to be slightly harder. I was expecting it to feel easier because I went into the test feeling ready and was dissapointed when it didnt seem so. Having 265 questions once means you are the closest to passing, so with my studying prior to testing, lets hope this time I did!
i passed! it was harder for me because i was getting questions above the passing standard! the first time i took nclex, i didnt pass but questions seemed easier that time. so as of today, i am officially an rn!:balloons:
oh my god jme2007 ...you passed!!!
congratulations buddy!! you give me hope. i am taking mine on friday may 11th. please say a prayer for me..if you dont mind.
i would truely appreciate it!!
congrats!!! again rn!
I am sorry to hear your results, and glad that your mate is so supportive. It means a great deal. If attending graduation is important to you, then, go. You DID GRADUATE...you just have to pass the exam. Who cares what these people think? And, do not accept the pressure of passing because you were one of the top students. It is not fair to yourself. Good luck for the next time.
