Pls.help me on how to remove hemovac drains and jp drain. im also having a trouble in setting the iv infusion pump,sometimes it is so tricky for me i cant figure that much especially if the pt has antibiotic,for all i know i infused the piggyback and stop the primary but when i returned in a minute oh my gosh the antibiotic was already empty....

for those of us who have already taken boards, please answer a few questions that might help ease the minds of those who are still waiting to test or for results. i know reading as much as possible about other people's experience helped me feel a little bit better while i waited. 1. how many questions did you take on nclex? around 85-90 questions in an hour 2. what study materials did you use? did you take a test review course? suzanne's plan, my kaplan book and q trainer 3. did your son offer any testing (eri, ati, hesi)? none 4. how long did you wait for results of the test, or are you still waiting? i've waited 3 months because of that fingerprint clearance from doj.(ca-bon) 5. what were your thoughts coming out of the test (total disbelief, certainty you had failed, confident you had passed) when i came out from the testing center i say a little prayer and whatever his plans for me i will accept it... 6. was this your first attempt at nclex? 2nd attempt and passed:balloons::balloons::balloons: goodluck for those who are still waiting.they can because they think they can....

I'm sorry to hear that...i suggest that give yourself a break,,,as you move on try to narrate your weakness..i bet if you use suzanne's plan you will pass on your 5th try....don't loose hope sweetie...we don't want you to spend another money to those expensive review class..suzannes plan is free of charge all you need is the saunders book and the cd....

you're just in a right track...i did suzanne's plan and read my kaplan book and i passed my 2nd time..now i am an RN with flying colors....thank you suzanne....

I did 100 questions per day no more no less and even if i answered correct to a certain question i make sure that i still need to read and understand that question by heart and by mind...

If you are going to take your nclex in california...you need that fingerprint..you can request directly to www.rn.ca.gov .just supply the necessary information and wait for a few weeks to be mailed...
