Any 5th or 6th time test takers out there
AlexisRN45- Thank you for note and I do truly believe my time is coming. And YES, I have asked myself with a few Nurses How in the hell, they got their license, BUT for now--They have theirs and I do not. Will be sitting for the boards in a few months, need to get a little more confidence behind me. Thank you again.

Any 5th or 6th time test takers out there
Yes, Iwannabarn- Have you been just doing questions, or have you felt differently in changing your stragey towards the NCLEX. I to will be taking this, well just say for the too (manyth)time, LOL I am trying to keep my sanity through all of this. I know so much about this test, you would think between, the type of questions, the computer itself and the calmness we have adapted through, the "light bulb would come on" and the "connect the dots" by now would have kicked in BUT there is still something that is lacking. I do believe all of the books and reviews I have taken are with the first time and yes, even the second time test takers are helping. BUT for the ones like us, I feel like there should be another level of questions we need to be looking at or trying to achive. Am I taking the wrong approch at this, Maybe, I am open to suggestions. I am currently doing the Suzanne's approch, BUT still feel I should feel differently, maybe it will come in time. Maybe it's just gun shy, or not trusting yourself when you feel you are ready, who knows. All I know I am not giving up and no one else should either.

Any 5th or 6th time test takers out there
My hand is up there with you. I haven't set a date this time, awaiting my ATT, I know the routine for retaking only to well, only thing I am trying to do is PASS, that is the only word in this world I want to see. I have contacted a previous professor and will be meeting next week. I had to admit if only to myself I need help. I know there is something I know I have to do different. Hoping she can say something and see through me, and pinpoint what I am lacking. In Fl. this is my last try, I have already went to a refresher course(state required) which honestly did not help, only hurt wallet. I am doing my inteeded 100 questions and looking at rationials, which helps alot. I wish everyone the best of luck, and only hope I will be a succus story soon. I have never given up and don't plan to, Fl may think otherwise, It's hard BUT we all will get through it, some how. I am thankful for this forum to vent- Well, it's time to hit the books, Again, GOOD LUCK TO ALL>

Failed NCLEX 3x...Any advice?
I to am taking the NCLEX for the fifth and LAST time, I am from Fl and yes, had to do the remedial before I could apply again . Just got my ATT and I and doing Suzanne's plan and will not take it again until I follow her plan to the letter. I know it sounds funny but I feel it does work.I was studying harder and not smarter until now. Yes, it has cost a small fortune to finally get to this point, But everyone says there was a reason, and as long as I PASS I hope to fulfill it. The BEST of luck to all.:balloons: PS-And after the remedial you are allowed to retake three more times and then it is back to remedial again, NO THANKS:smilecoffeeIlovecof

Sylvia Rayfield Nclex Course
Yes, I took Sylvia's course and personally I needed the upbeat confidence level she gave me, I needed it bad. Everyone has there favorite and what works for them. I have the self study and CD's where I can listen over and over and also put it on my MP3 player and go to sleep with it. I have set it aside and doing Suzanne's plan and then I will go back and listen once more before doing boards(again), BUT for me I will have done everything I feel is needed and do feel better about my knowledge content and my self confidence, and as we know they go hand in hand "Knowledge is Power", I know that sounds corny, BUT I do believe it. Good Luck to Everyone. We all deserve our Hopes and Dreams We have worked to hard not to SUCCED

NCLEX for the fourth time.......
How can something you want be so hard? I went through Nursing school with good grades, have did qustions for lord knows off and on for at least a year now. Just found out that four letter word once more....(fail) I hope and pray no one ever has to go through that. That is the only thing in my life I have yet to accomplish.I have to do something different, but at this moment I really don't know what that is. I went through the Kaplan, doing Saunders, reading every book imaginable. The test I take in books and CD's I do well on and it's just very flustrating to say the least.I even went through a refresher course(state approved) before I could go on, which I may add cost$$$$$ all before you pay another 300. to take it again. I'm sorry and I don't mean to whine BUT just need to vent to someone who knows how this test is. But there is something I must be missing and before I attempt again will figure it out. Any suggestions?????????? Thanks for listening... spitfire02

Hi- I also took the NCLEX yesterday and had 75 questions. This was not my first time, the last time was 265 so I am really confused. I feel like the questions were harder BUT did I say what they wanted me to, Who Knows..........All I know is TODAY WILL BE A LONG DAY...I could analyze it to death, or talk myself into it, LOL Talk about a Blur, I am right there with you... Well, will find out around eleven I will be back to let you know. Best of luck to ANYONE who has to contend with this . I have so many mixed emotions. Will be thinking of you, I need all the support everyone has to give as I am sure you do also. spitfire02
