Took 265 questions, and PASSED!!

Published

:bowingpurHey guys,

I am brand new to posting on this website, but I sure did look it up after I took the NCLEX (June, 2008) with all 265 questions. I was sure I had failed, but after reading some of these forums, I realized that people can actually pass with the entire amount of questions. And I did pass!! I just wanted to give future test takers some hope as well. I guess it is true, that when you walk out of the test, you are going to feel like you failed. I sure did, and I feel as though I guessed at just about all of them, too!! I couldn't beleive it when the test kept going and going. I was so panicked when it got to 200 ,that I could barely think any more. All I can say, is make sure you know which patient to assess first!!:nurse: I did have a couple of math questions (3) but they weren't that hard. Hang in there and have hope. :D

congratulations!!!

Well, I am in the same boat. Took 265 questions and kept praying it would shut off..like my brain had about 100 question ago! WHo to assess first was my majority and it is sooo hard to study a topic like that. I think that may have been my downfall. Oh well...I will try to keep my head up and tackle it again if I have to.

I just got my results today and I also passed with 265 questions...I had so many SATA questions and drugs that I never even heard of! I thought for sure that I failed because of all the questions and how many questions I did not feel 100% sure about. I am so relieved! THANK YOU GOD !!!!

Hang in there! Sounds like our situations were similar. And if I passed, you probably did, too. That's why I put up this posting, because I had thought with 100% certainty that I failed, but then realized there were other situations just like mine!! If you are in the process of waiting, I know it's awful, but hang in there and I bet you passed!!

Congratulations!
