Took Nclex today

shut off at 89 questions. I am pretty sure I failed. All my questions were SATA and meds I had no clue what they were. I had a few easy ones and some I surely answered wrong because I started losing it after 75 questions.

how did you do doll?

I have not checked my state board and I have no mail. How long dies it take to post to the state board? Will the state board update on a Saturday or will it update on Monday? I will not do the trick...

My state did update on the weekend and I know this because I know several people who took the exam on Friday...their name appeared on the BON the following day. If you're not going to do the trick then it sounds like you're just going to have to wait. Good luck!

I wanted to let you know that i gave my test on oct 2 and i just accessed my quick result and i have passed the nclex. the only advice i can give you is relax. When you answer questions, take your time to answer your questions. do not rush. this will ensure that you take a short exam. use the decision tree and you will nail it. what i did was to take my hand off of the mouse and read the questions. I had 17 sata, 2 drag and drop and one exhibit. if i can do it as an international nurse who has not stepped into an american hospital, you definitely can. go for it. i think you have good scores and you will be fine

Dear fusion fire I have an exam on oct 28 can u please give me any suggestion what should I do I am using hurst also I am doing questions from here and there I have a pda book which I will do 2weeks before the exam.

Hi Biglala,

First of all write somewhere near you study table : I will beat this test. it only assesses minimum competency and i am more than minimally competent. second, make a plan to study each and every single day. how much you study is very much individual thing but you have to keep a consistency. I enrolled in the Kaplan RN review and I cannot tell you how much it has helped me. Hurst is equally good but only if you are weak in content. I watched the Hurst videos before taking kaplan. if you are a recent graduate, you should have a lot of content really fresh but if not then try to get that portion right. however, content is only a part of it. NCLEX is not going to assess how much content you know,but it will assess your ability to take that knowledge and see if you can apply it in real practice safely. answering questions is what you need to do. the format is tricky for questions and they dont tell you what the question is related to, but will assess you if you can find the topic and safely assess/evaluate your patient. so my advice would be to practice answering questions

Praise the Lord! Congratulations! im so happy for you! will take mine on wednesday! decision tree doesnt work for me but i do think criticaly every single choices.. im an international nurse too.. Please pray for me.. i will take the readiness tomorrow..thank you for encouragement its time for you to celerabrate and relax :))

Thank you godmademe. Readiness really should have been taken b4 you starts qbank. It gives you a good guide on where to start. But saying that now that you are nearly done, readiness test is really basic and you will fly through it. How was your qtrainer 6&7. And regardless you will go really well. Decision tree didn't work for me either. Where are you from BTW? I am from England

took the qt67 last weds and thurs.. got 63% on qt6 and 64% on qt7.. i havent review the rationale of qt45 it was so overwhelming i even got bad headache cant stand looking at the computer for a long hours.. im from philippines.. im so nervous.. any suggestions to what i need to do this last 3 days before my exam? i just took the incorrect qbank today 75items.. and will watch those video rationale later.. i got 61% overall qbank btw. :)
