I dont know if this is good or not. But I got 3 math questions and about 4 select all that apply. It stopped at 75 questions!!!!!! There was alot of prioritization and communication for me. oh my! This sucks! BIG TIME!
Its either I did really bad that they didn't want me to continue or that I passed.
I took Kaplan last week... and according to them I was on Borderline! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm with you!!! I took mine yesterday and it shut off at 105. Now we just have to play the waiting game. It is a good sign that you got a lot of priority questions because they are considered the higher level questions that you need to get right.

I was doing the same thing for the past two days. I took the test on Tuesday. I stopped at 75 questions and I didn't know what to think. I kept telling myself that I couldn't believe that I did so badly that the computer was 95% sure that I was not competent. Getting a lot of prioritization questions is definitely and good sign. I got 4 select all that apply and 2 math questions. However, these are the new alternate format questions and are not considered in your score. These questions will not count toward your score until sometime this fall, they are still in the testing phase. I got my results today and passed. I know it's a hard game to play, but I have faith in you and believe you will have good news soon. Hang in there, and I'll pray for you.
Good luck!

I took my NCLEX for NC on 6/21/05. I have no idea how I did. I am (not so patiently) awaiting my results! I got 158 questions which I believe is a bad sign and I thought it was very hard. Tons of priority questions which I think I did poorly on. I am hoping that I can check the phone number tomorrow (Friday). I realize that you can find out if you passed by checking the website or phone line, but do you have to wait for the mail to find out you failed?

Pearson-Vue will tell you "Pass" or "Not Pass"----good luck to you. :)
How do you know if the select all that apply and fill in the blank math questions do not apply to the exam?

How? I am getting licenced in North Carolina and they do not participate in the quick results through Pearson. Can I call Pearson? Do I just call the testing center or do I call the main number? Thank you! Any info is appreciated!
Never mind! I got my results today and I passed!!! I am so happy, but still in shock!

This is information my instructors provided in school. I did not validate what they said, but I figured they know what they're talking about. I was just hoping to help ease the mind of some very freaked out nurses-to-be...even if it's just a little. But it's still hard to tell because 15 of the questions aren't used anyway, and we don't know which are used and which aren't. I found that you have to believe in yourself and think positively...even when things don't go the way we want them, we can't lose our faith. I have learned this after several years of going back a forth with my faith. Anyway, good luck to all.
