 I was hoping I'd have more so I can prove what I know. My last 10 questions were priority questions. I got a lot of priority questions. Does anyone know if those are the high level questions. I didn't get any new format, no fill in the blanks. A ton of med questions, like what is the side effect. My last question was who would you see first 1. a pt who just had thoracotomy complaining of pain while coughing 2.a pt who had some kind of bladder cath inserted 10 min ago who is anxious and have generalized itching 3. a pt getting tube feeding who had 3 loose stools in the past 4 hrs. I don't remember the other selection as I completely eliminated it. I picked #2 since I was thinking the pt probably get some kind of allergy reaction from the cath inserted (but I haven't heard of anyone getting that :uhoh21: ) Please anyone let me know what you think. How do I know if I was in the higher level questions.

Sounds like you passed

I would also go with 2 (latex allergy) 1 is expected and 3 is not yet an emergency.

Good luck! I would have picked 2 also, because allergic reactions are a priority since they can progress. Pain while coughing after a thoracotomy is a normal finding and the loose stools isn't a prority over an alergic reaction.

Congratulations Jazznkate! SOunds to me like you passed! Keep us posted!!!!!!!!!!

Good Luck. Remember that 75 is almost always a good number. The priority questions are considered higher level. Keep us posted. I am from CA too, so check the website you should show up within a week.

for your reply. Now that makes sense..a latex allergic rxn. I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed until I find out. I really prepared for this exam. I hope I pass. I can't wait to be an RN.:uhoh3:

75 is usually very good or very bad===i am sure is good for you good luck

I got 75 when I took the boards (and passed). Generally, it means you did quite well. It could mean that you did catestrophically bad but we'll assume that is not the case :).

Sounds like you did great! :) I hope you hear soon.

I think you answered that question right.

And, if it's any consolation to you, I knew when I finished taking the boards that I had passed because I answered my last one correct. Granted, that's not always a guarantee, but I had made my peace with it all before I even went in. Wasn't nervous at all.

Let us know as soon as you do!
