Sooo.... i took my test this morning. And idk how to feel right now. I am drained from all the studying, drained from the test, and just staying prayerful and hopeful. I prayed all the way through that test. And i pray that i proved myself to be a safe/component nurse. I am too scared to do the PVT so i guess im playing the waiting game. 265 questions and 6 hours later i still have a big headache lol. I am thankful/greatful and hopefully i will be posting soon to tell you what i used to pass boards :)

Jae6 Man that is sad, I am so sorry, I know you will pass next time because if you got all the questions that means you must have been very close to above passing. Give yourself a break and then keep at it!! You will not be defeated!!! I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Oh so sorry - that is my fear too. Regarding the number of questions, on of my instructors said that if you get all questions right by 75 they end the exam,...... you could have been great in some and not so strong in other topics. What are you using to study with I bought the Saunders NCLEX review after reading so many comments that nursing students passed and only used this text for study.... Lippencott and kaplan also have study texts.... Best of luck next time :yes:

I mainly used kaplan. For the q trainers, video on pharmacology and did some of the q bank. I also used their strategies book completely. And a lippincott book for alternative questions. I will redo kaplan because i know it helped me but i will complete it this time including all videos prior to answering the questions so i can brush up on content. I am also going to look for a good priorities book since i had a ton of those. I know i must of been close, just need to reinforce so i can be successful next time

Sorry to hear that! I'm trying to take the test again in decemer. Like you I'm using Kaplan. I'm super scared to take this test again. My grades are not so good. My diagnostic 63%,qt1 62%,qt2 53%. What do you thing of my score and Kaplan? I only have 1 and half months to review. I really need to pass this time. Please any advise!

I think that you have plenty of time to bring your scores up. Have you watched the content videos with kaplan? That is goin to be my next step because i only went through the pharmacology one before. Also, review the rationales for those tests and continue to the next ones. Make sure your looking at the ones you got right and wrong and understanding why in both cases. Although i failed i still strongly stand by kaplan because i know it helped me. Try and finish up those and do the qbank as well and see where you are. Dont wait till the last min. How many times have you tested?
