Sooo.... i took my test this morning. And idk how to feel right now. I am drained from all the studying, drained from the test, and just staying prayerful and hopeful. I prayed all the way through that test. And i pray that i proved myself to be a safe/component nurse. I am too scared to do the PVT so i guess im playing the waiting game. 265 questions and 6 hours later i still have a big headache lol. I am thankful/greatful and hopefully i will be posting soon to tell you what i used to pass boards :)
Congrats!! And thank you. There's so many different stories they make you wonder. Someone was saying if you get the last question wrong its an automatic fail
People say a lot of things that are wrong, and that includes this forum. So much incorrect info, it's mind-boggling sometimes!
If at the time your test ended you were above passing standard, you passed. If you were below, you failed. If answering your last question wrong dropped you below the passing mark, you'd fail. But if it was above passing, and getting it wrong STILL had you above passing....you pass. Really just that simple, but people do try to read more into it than there is!
Good luck!
I am so glad to hear that there still is a chance. My attitude was the same, at least I am still in the game. But, 265 I was like ok, is this really happening to me? Yes, it did. I also had like 29 SATA, 5 EKG strips and enough prioritization. I am praying I did well enough I would hate to have to do it again. This was my first time and pray it's my last. By the way Jae6 I am in Tampa, St. Pete area what area are you in? Also I did Kaplan and the decision tree really wasn't much help for me.
im in south fl. 25 min from mia. The decision tree didnt help me either but i do feel that kaplan helped me overall. I pray this is my last time as well
