Oh so sorry - that is my fear too. Regarding the number of questions, on of my instructors said that if you get all questions right by 75 they end the exam,...... you could have been great in some and not so strong in other topics. What are you using to study with I bought the Saunders NCLEX review after reading so many comments that nursing students passed and only used this text for study.... Lippencott and kaplan also have study texts.... Best of luck next time

TOUGH -not touch

Hi Everyone!!! I am in a touch situation - I am an LPN that has worked for over 3 1/2 years as a medical case manager for work comp claims - before that over 5 years investigating prof liability claims...... I have been unemployed for over a year because NO ONE wants to hire an LPN.... AND I have been out of clinical too long so no one wants to hire me as an LPN - in facilities or agencies.... HELP!!!!!! I really love working as a case manager or similar job but right now I just need a job - my home is in foreclosure..... I am in school finishing my gen studies to start nursing (RN) this Fall but 2 years is too long to wait for a job.... ANY help will be greatly appreciated

Hi: I am an LPN in NY and worked for 3 1/2 years as a nurse case manager for a private med case management co. There is also certification in case management for LPNs as well. Although the market preference is that you have an BSN, there are still companies that will take your experience above your nursing status. The company I worked for provided case management for injured workers/WC. Hope this helps answer your question.
