Took nclex rn in california on 7/18..

@daisy: no updates for me & I took mine on July 18 ended with 75 ?s and got the good pop up. This is sooo frustrating!!!! My employer been bugging me about this

I just called as I took mine exam on July 20th; the BRN said they do not have my results in as of today. So then I called Pearson and they said they sent them. Who is telling the truth here? I missed out on a job offer as they advised me that there were just far too many people with the RN to wait on me. Thank you California, I just love it!

I'm in the exact same situation getting the run around from both Pearson & BRN. Have a job lined up for aug 10. Hoping they get it sorted out. So ridiculous.

@tannan: I called the today as well & they said the same thing. My fingerprints & file r complete. I asked Pearson vue if they could resend my results bc apparently the brn hasn't receive it yet. The woman I spoke to said that its already been sent on the day I took it. I explained to her about the technical issue that the bRN been having n stilll she said its been sent already....I mean what is the problem with resending it again???!!!! Ughhh, this is sooo frustrating!

Botox Baby: to give you an idea of timeline, I spoke with my evaluator directly and received the following information. My school had sent transcripts Jun 28. On Jul 27, my friendly evaluator stated that there were 12 files in front of mine, but confirmed he did in fact have my transcripts. He estimated by mid-week (Jul 31st) - my file would be complete, and results could then be processed (assuming my results are in fact there - thinking I should have asked that question when I had him on the line). Roughly 5 weeks (including the July 4th holiday in the middle of all that), it took for transcripts to be processed. I have the utmost respect for these evaluators - it is a never ending job of piling paperwork - and likely very thank-less! I think I'm going to send him a thank you card once I get the GOOD results that COINCIDE w. my GOOD Pop-up! :) Lots of people to thank!

Onto my 3rd week of waiting for my name to appear on the BRN website .....ooooh the agony! I have faith in the PVT! :)

Nothing for me as well. And Pearson Vue is telling the truth when they say they were sent....yet because of the glitch in the system they are not making it to the BRN site, which is why the BRN has no record of us taking it unless they manually log onto their access to Pearson Vue and look us up by our social security # (which is what my evaulator did). The unfortunate part is that until the BRN fixes this problem from their end the results will continue not to go through no matter how many times Pearson Vue resends them. This is really crazy but at this point I don't no what else to do.

My evaluator is a gem...he finally answered today and gave me an update that he said he's been giving to all his applicants all day who has been calling. apparently the entire system is down for the entire department of consumer affairs, which governs all state licensing and boards. So those who tested for ANY type of state board (be it nursing or cosmetology or whatever) since July 18 has not had their results come through. What's even crazier is that an estimated 100 people pass some type of state boards each day in the state of california that is governed by consumer affairs, so imagine how many people have not heard anything since July 18 test date. He said this could take another week or 2 or 3 to fix. I feel like throwing up....Im sooooo sick over this!!!

I also spoke with a nice gentleman at the BON today as my evaluator is not in but he was able to confirm that I did indeed take the test and that my file was complete. I think at this point if we have confirmation that our file is complete there is nothing that we can do. I did speak with pearsonvue and was told that the BON "acknowledged" my test results….whatever that means.The lady at pearsonvue advised me to call the BON in a couple of days. So I am kinda at a stopping point in what to do.

Thanks Mya2bRN! I can not believe this is happening. I am so sickened by this. I feel for those, possibly myself, who have landed a job and had to give it up do to not having an active license. I feel for the BON as I am sure it is added stress to everyone. I wish they would post something on their site that the system is down….etc. It would save a lot of phone calls and frustration. If only they could confirm that we passed and alleviate all this stress.

Thanks! That gives me a better idea of how much longer I may need to wait. It's so tough though knowing that i took the test almost one month ago and I still can't find out for sure. I am going to call again tomorrow and try to speak with my evaluator and hopefully get some sort of reassuring response. I just want to ensure my file is complete, I understand they are super busy and need time to work on our files, but I just don't want to find out that they are missing something and then it takes another 4+ weeks to get it straightened out when I can take care of it now.

Thanks for your timeframe...although its not nice that you have been waiting almost 3 weeks, it give me some hope. Good luck to you! I have put the same faith into the PVT....on to more patiently waiting....
