tired of waiting on acceptance letter!!!

just curious, who else is waiting on acceptance for spring 09. i'm enrolled at wcccd two days ago they were still reviewing files!!!! they said the end of oct. at the latest. this wait is horrible!!!:crying2::banghead::eek:

When I called the Nursing Office again yesterday Ms. N said that it's way to early to determine when letters will be mailed. So I'm not sure, because when I call someone always tells me something different. I'm just going to stop worrying and just wait from here on out. Good Luck too all.

yea sillyrabbit, because they are clearly not in a rush, and it's beginning to be very irritating, when here it is oct. 15th you would think letters would be going out like lots of other schools. we'll get in and i look forward to meeting you.:yeah:

I just had my first nightmare about being rejected. For utterly stupid reasons, too. They were going down the list rejecting people on the basis of unprofessional email address, age, and things like that. I made it through several rounds, but was eventually rejected based on some completely random reason from my essay that had no bearing on reality.

I wasn't really feeling all that stressed about the waiting thing, but I guess I was moreso than I thought!

I got in!!!!! I received a phone call from my school to let me know I have been accepted into the Spring 09 nursing program - I feel so relieved, I don't even know what to do with myself! Best of luck to everyone else who is waiting, I hope you all are accepted into your programs!:yeah:

If I can find someone to take my kids for me at short notice, my husband and I will go out to eat and have a few drinks, if not, we'll stay home and have a few drinks!

My school (Uni of Kentucky) just doubled its acceptance rate AGAIN. It was 40 a semester, now it's 80! That's 160 people a year! But I'm still soooooooooooooo scared I won't get in. If I keep on the track I'm on (after retaking microbiology) I'll have a 3.3 gpa when I apply and there's really nothing else except my essay and recommendations.

I mean I have a BA and 99.9999999999% of the people applying are high school seniors about to graduate (with a few RN -> BSN people)

and then people like me getting a second degree...

What are my chances?

Congrats sunnsand!!! remember when I mentioned I had those two letters that I am waiting on? Well, i got the HESI test letter! SO I have to go take the test, and after I kick hesi's butt, I will still be here...waiting for THE letter. :bluecry1:
