tired of waiting on acceptance letter!!!

just curious, who else is waiting on acceptance for spring 09. i'm enrolled at wcccd two days ago they were still reviewing files!!!! they said the end of oct. at the latest. this wait is horrible!!!:crying2::banghead::eek:

I hear ya sillyrabbit. I know that I wont be hearing anything till at least next month but I still check my e-mails like 20-30 times a day and walk out to my mailbox every hour until the mail comes for that day! Hate waiting.... Hate it!!

Anyone still losing their mind. Well Columbus day was yesterday so that puts the mail one day behind. I want to call the nursing office so bad to see when letters will be mailed but am afraid of what I might hear. Just need to be patient I guess and just wait it out.

So shot me I couldn't help it I just called the nursing office and asked when will letters be mailed she said Hopefully by the first of November. Hopefully I can't plan my life on Hopefully. Oh God this is nuts. How about someone else call and see if they get someone different and ask the same question also ask has the GPA cutoff been determined than post here with what they said. If GPA cutoff has been dtermined tahn it shouldn't take long to get letters.

Well I am in the same boat now too finally:nurse:!!! Although the offical application deadline is on Sunday for the RN program I really want. I submitted my application yesterday AM and got a call for the interview yesterday PM. Which is on Monday:yeah:

Then they said the "yes" & "no" letters will go out by Thanksgiving.

I also am applying to a fasttrack lpn program too, the deadline for that is next thursday. I am submitting my application at the Monday AM meeting then heading across town for my interview at the school I really want...then the wait is on!!

Every day I battle with myself not to call the nursing office yet again and beg to know how many applicants there were and when the letters are going out...gah!!!!!!! I just want to know!!!!

silly rabbit, u r silly!!!:lol2: i forgot the mail did not run yesterday. it seems like some will get letters at the end of oct. and others at the beginning of nov. when i called last week someone said def. before thanksgiving. but i am still checking the mail everyday becuz like i said each person is saying different things. hang n there!!! becuz it won't b long now:D

I am waiting too!! We should know by "mid to late October" which could be any day now!!!! I am checking my email like a crazy person because that's how we are going to be notified!!! :no:

This wait is making me nuts too!! I feel like I'm obsessed with knowing whether I'm in or not - checking the mail, email, voicemail. I've had two children, and nine months of pregnancy almost seems like an easier wait than this! I'm glad to know that there are others out there who are as anxious as me. Good luck to everyone and I hope we all get good news very soon!

I don't post very often but I came here just to see if there was a thread like this!

My friend who's in the program already told me that she heard that letters had been sent out (this was yesterday). So maybe they sent them on Friday and it'll come to my house today, right?

I just want to KNOW.

This waiting is soooo worse than the last month of pregnancy, IMO.
