Hey keep your head up! It's not the end of the world all I can tell you is try again if you really wan't to be a nurse don't let this obstacle bring you down and prevent you from persueing your dream to become a nurse. I was in a diffrent situation similar let me tell you I took the entrance exam many years back to get into the nursing program outta 100 students that took the exam only 50 were choosen I was one of them the funny part I was the only male 49 were females so to get to the point from 50 it drop to 40 only 30 were going to make the cut my grade average was in the 90's and guess what I was not choosen that really upset me that the instructor selected all females I HAD A VERY HIGH GRADE AVERAGE and I was not selected I let that get in the way from coninueing on and persueing nursing ended up joining the military served 8 years which wasnt a bad choice but if I would of tried again at another colledge I maybe would of been an RN by now Just got out of the military and plan on persueing my long time dream of becoming a nurse:nurse: Also just found out I been accepted to the nursing program will be startin in Nov, 10 2008 I'm BACK!!!!!! Congratulations:yeah:on being accepted to the nursing program good job. I also was just recently accepted to the nursing program I'll be starting in Nov,10 2008 I also been waiting for this day for quite some time now and I'm looking foward to starting and finishing in a year from now. I don't have any little one's but I do have a wife and just like you have to be a mother to your little one's and wife to your husband I myself have to be a husband to my wife. Balance is key:up: and communication also with your family. If things get out of control wish they will it's nursing very rigorous remember just take a few breathes and stay positive always. Remember you been waiting for this your whole life and your going to make it. Remember you have your little one's and your husband for support!

Hi, Everyone! I'm Rick I just got accepted to the VN program. I still can't believe it after trying over and over to get into the program I'm finally in. All I can say it's been a long ride for me and now I'm finally in I'll be starting the program on Nov 10, 2008 which is almost around the corner. Prior to being accepted I was inform about the elimination phase 50 students are accepted to the Vn and only the top 30 actually will get to start the Lvn program:redbeathe. Any advise or tips on being one of the 30 or how to become one of those 30 student's . Anyone in my situation or was ? Will appreciate any advise or tips...
