I hate my managers. Always thinking about what's good for them and not what I want or what I feel is best for me. Trust me when I say I will be going to HR by the end of this week. I want a change, I want a move and I need a work environment where I am supported and not chastized like a little child and where the bosses do not play favorites and I found the perfect area and I'm going one way or the other..

Good for you. Hope it does indeed turn out to be the perfect area.

Gooo!!! YAY for you! I say good riddance to managers like that. I have left many 'o place where the managers want to play games and the work environment suffered because of it. I don't think anyone should have to work in a place like that.
Well, I shouldn't say perfect because every area has its issues but I know for a fact that the manager is much more supportive in this area and I've spoken to her multiple times and to her employees and they are all happy.
And thats exactly what my managers do...play games. They can kiss my behind because I am done. I know I will be in the office this week with my manager saying why do you want to leave and I'm going to say "I know for a fact you can't deny my transfer...buh bye"

Do what you need to do, but be careful what bridges you burn. You never know when you may need to cross them again. Trust me I know from experience. Good luck with everything.

dear, dear, dear, I have been nursing for 24 yrs and believe me when i say good luck on your wanted find. Our society has allowed the american business leaders to behave in such a sinful way and that is why it is with great pleasure to know that one day this world will end as we know it now. I hope all those who have abused people in so many facets of the workforce is ready.

Kudos to you! I am a nursing student and worked as an activities manager for awhile... These nurses where I worked got treated like poo! It was horrible... I just found out the DON lost her job, I don't know why, but it's not surprising. These nurses would come in work crying and leave with a sever state of depression pasted all over their faces. Management NEVER had their back, everything they did was wrong, they were disrespected, belittled, had to come in work severely sick. No one should have to go through this, ever. I commend you on standing up for yourself. You will, and deserve to find something MUCH more better and rewarding then where you're at!

Best of luck!! I don't really love my job right now either due to workplace drama and blatant favoritism, but I'll stick it out till June 'cause we're getting restationed...no sense looking for something right now.
I hope you are happier in your next job!
