I didn't suggest it was, but for Trump promoting that lie is one of the biggest assaults on Democracy in my lifetime. That this is okay with people, particularly people like the Speaker of the House and Senators is baffling to me.

Those videos don't exist. There's no need for the left to create videos promoting a false narrative, because Trump provides so much on his own.

Apparently you aren't aware that after 20 million dollars investigating a private citizen, the Trump House Republicans couldn't establish that there was a coordinated effort to suppress the story. They tried. They had witnesses and everything. Unfortunately for them, opinion is not the same as facts or evidence. It does convince Trump supporters though. The House Republicans couldn't even establish the pedigree of the laptop. They have no idea where it came from or who had possession.

'Cheap political tactics' is like bringing women to a debate who have accused your opponent's husband of sexual misconduct. That's a cheap political tactic. Manipulating audio and video to create a false narrative about political opponents is another beast entirely. It's not normal politics, cheap or otherwise. It seems like you accept that as normal politics. That's why Trump is your guy.
Yes, as long as Republicans continue to do dumb things, Democrats will campaign on the dumb things that Republicans have done.
