QuoteThe abortion law builds on legislation passed in 2010 that represented a major shift for a traditionally Catholic country, transforming Spain into one of the most progressive countries in Europe on reproductive rights. Spain's constitutional court last week rejected a challenge by the right-wing Popular Party against allowing abortions in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy.
The debate will be heated in Spain, I imagine, as the conservative opposition pushes back. My daughter had horrible menstrual pain during her adolescence and young adulthood. I'm certain that she would have benefitted from that time.

But to be fair I did say "some economists" when I sourced only him so that criticism of me is valid.
Not really. Sourcing one well qualified economist while indicating "some" economists is customary and not worthy o of criticism. Stiglitz' views are widely shared and hardly outliers in today's world of economic experts and analysts. The nit picking is an easy diversion from discussing the concerns of people like Stiglitz.
Per some metrics, some economists and other experts, it seems Trump's tariffs may be working and/or have a chance of long-term success.

You are kidding, right? Can't wait for Smartmatic to win their case. It finally has begun!

You must not believe that Fox has a rehabilitated relationship with the truth after their lies about election fraud. I can't say that I blame you. There's not much evidence to support the idea of reformed behavior that I've seen.
The Smartmatic defamation case against Fox and specific hosts (like Jeannine Pirro) began.

Smartmatic has had a sketchy history. They may have a tough time convincing a court that Fox damaged them and thst they deserve $2 billion, if anything.

Finally they have moved out of depositions. I hope I can watch this on TV. It will be interesting how they could ever weasel out of this one since they admitted their guilt in their previous and their previous cry of We're not the news; we're infotainment won't be challenged. I doubt the judge will give them more than the $978 million they got from the last case, but a girl can hope that they get the full $2 billion.
