Why would it become suddenly more lethal before it died out? Will this happen with the Covid virus? I listen to history. Meanwhile, our prez is blathering on about transgender mice in his state of the disunion address. I couldn't imagine how his demented mind came up with the idea that the NIH was turning little male mice into little female mice. So he translated "transgenetic" into "transgender". Transgenetic mice are created for medical research. I wonder if any mouse will have to die to trans Trump into something intelligent.
Really, it's OK. It's unlikely anyone was hurt. Lots more people are hurt because Americans identify as Christian or conservative when they really aren't Christian or conservative than by people who identify as turtles. Currently people are calling themselves conservative when they really are right wing authoritarians elevating fascist policies and agendas.

Yes, covid does mutate. So far, listening to the science, the mutations aren't as lethal, even in the unvaccinated, but one can't predict the future. Problem is that if it mutates into something more lethal will being boosted against another variant help?

I'm still not sure young healthy adults that pass on the vaccine need to fear the future from covid. Most of us have been exposed by now.

The Spanish Flu had a high mortality rate among young healthy adults. I saw a clip from 2023 of Kennedy on the Joe Rogan podcast claiming that vaccine research was responsible for for the Spanish Flu (also blaming AIDS not on a virus but the gay lifestyle). Flu vaccines didn't come out until the 1930's.
