The debate will be heated in Spain, I imagine, as the conservative opposition pushes back. My daughter had horrible menstrual pain during her adolescence and young adulthood. I'm certain that she would have benefitted from that time.

This is stranger than fiction and way more dangerous than any book. Even one about a transgender teacher grooming and mutilating kids in a satanic after school program. If one existed, it would be less dangerous to our society than people like Empty G.

I mean, you believe that if House Republicans say that Biden's economy was bad then that MUST mean that Biden's economy was bad. In spite of the evidence to the contrary, you believe the republican politicians. And you say these things while Trump's people are breaking laws and precedent left and right.
None of Trump's supporters think that there's any evidence that this administration is fascist. There's no point in trying to change your mind or any other mind about that. That does not mean that Trump isn't a fascist or that his presidency isn't a fascist exercise. They are. You're going to be seeing that type of language used regularly. Buckle up.

I have to admit, I had to look up "legacy media" which is as I understand it, old school media that existed prior to the internet. What they are saying about the reporter with the accent is she's a correspondent for several outlets and is based in Washington.

Insulting people with accents is just acceptable in right wing politics today. She identifies as a Christian although you'd never guess if she didn't tell you.

A House Republican introduced a bill Tuesday that would enable President Trump's efforts to purchase Greenland — and rename it to "Red, White and Blueland."
Why it matters: Republican lawmakers loyal to Trump have scrambled to put together a series of bills that would codify the president's desire for a new era of American expansionism.
Driving the news: Rep. Earl "Buddy" Carter's (R-Ga.) two-page "Red, White, and Blueland Act of 2025'' would "authorize the President to enter into negotiations to acquire Greenland and to rename Greenland as 'Red, White, and Blueland.'"
The bill would also require the federal government to refer to it as such on official maps and documents.
The leaders of Greenland and Denmark — of which Greenland is a territory — have pushed back on the idea of trying to purchase Greenland, as have some Democrats.
