I had a student sneeze on my face and snot got on my glasses. I just kept on going and told him to cover his sneezes. The kids in my office were impressed on how I didn't go EWWW. I did kiddos, but inside in my head and along with other colorful words.
Just because I am sitting here ROFL, I had to share. I was watching my son at a play rehearsal and he turned to sneeze and sneezed right into the face of the school's biggest germaphobe. The scream was the best I had ever heard and award worthy. I could not stop laughing, as I was in the mezzanine and had an eagle's eye view, spray and all.

I once had a kid who I had never seen before in my office be brought in by a teacher because he was looking so ill. He did and his temp was 102.5 and he had a sore throat. So before calling home, I wanted to look in his throat for anything suspicious to report to the parents. As I leaned in to look, he coughed directly on my face. I help my breath and told him to just go get his things while I called home and then rubbed purell all over my face. Found out the next day that he had strep, but luckily I never got it.

I was at the lab on Friday for a pregnancy GTT, the lab shares a waiting room with urgent care. I watched a grown woman offer her friend a sip of some new Starbucks drink, the other grown woman drank from the same straw and then got called back to be seen at urgent care. When she came out, she told her friend that she had to go pick up her RX for strep throat. Her friend looked mortified...
