Along the lines of the first thread, "Things you would love to say to your nursing instructors" I thought this would be a great thread to start. I've since graduated LVN but there was one main thing I wanted to say to some students in my class.
Will you people in the back row please stop talking! I swear that today I can still hear their motormouths running! :chuckle
When I am in the RN bridge I will come back and post some more. I'm sure some of you have something to get off your chest. Come on and unload here! :)
So it's 11:30a.m. and we're walking to chemistry class...and you're asking me if I am ready for the last health assessment lecture exam of the semester which is to be taken at 3p.m. today. Um...YEA I'M READY! What ru nuts, how can I not be ready for an exam that is to be taken in less than 3.5hours? I really resent you saying, "You are????" in a such curiosity after I answered, "Yes" to your idiotic question.
Yea, seriously, so many people talk about how hard it is to get into and through nursing school. I honestly don't think it's hard enough. There are some people in my classes that I would truly be terrified of to take care of me. I think standards really do need to be higher and believe that the profession's reputation would also follow suit.

-well, why don't u go to med school since u want more of a challenge. I hate when ppl complain about things being too easy and nursing school is not easy, maybe your program is, but definitely not mine. Also, just b/c someone clincal skills are not 100% on the 1st try doesn't make them incompetent.
I just re-read a lot of these posts. School is back in a couple of weeks and I want to make sure I don't do anything to upset my fellow classmates.Of course I will. I have a terrible compulsion to answer every question. I know it is annoying. I swear I am working on it.
LOL! Me too. Making a mental note to stop doing it...I can't stand it if the professor asks a question and nobody answers. If I know it, I tend to open my big mouth. :chuckle

Thanks!! Ha ha! I had no idea I had all of that in me -- must be the "dark" side. Aren't I the bitter cow! Truth is, generally I am not that bothered. It happens that most of this was ONE student!
