Along the lines of the first thread, "Things you would love to say to your nursing instructors" I thought this would be a great thread to start. I've since graduated LVN but there was one main thing I wanted to say to some students in my class.
Will you people in the back row please stop talking! I swear that today I can still hear their motormouths running! :chuckle
When I am in the RN bridge I will come back and post some more. I'm sure some of you have something to get off your chest. Come on and unload here! :)
Thank you so much for being so supportive when I failed my Med-Surg course due to a med error. It means the world to me that even people who I did not get along with stood up for me. Thank you.
Please for the love of god shower before clinical!! I dry heave when you walk by me and I can't stand to be in that tiny room with it smelling like mold and BO! It's not rocket science.
stop being such a winer, we are all poor and stressed, most of us have kids and money issues, read on your own and come prepared to study group and stop interupting study group with your personal issues.
Ugh! So you missed a question on the exam, learn from it and move on! Don't post multiple comments on the class discussion board about how horrible the question was and how you deserve to get it right.
And don't email the entire class to tell us to go look at it and leave our own complaints about it because "you need the extra points" when we all know you only need them to secure your "A" so you can worry less about the final.
Dude. Who gave you the right to go around telling fellow students that they look 'positive' for TB tests??? Especially since they were all declared negative at the reading. You really DON'T know what you're doing, do you? It was the rumor...apparently, it's been proved true.
#1-- The real reason why I won't join your study group is because I actually want to study instead of wasting time talking about everybody in our class that isn't in the study group.
#2-- Please don't put "I hate my clinical group" on your myspace page before even the first day of clinicals when you barely know anyone in the class and think the only reason no one communicates with you at all is because "we're jealous" of your superiority.
#3-- FRONT ROW... Please Please Please let the instructor proceed with the lecture instead of stopping her every 3rd minute to talk and say... I work in ICU or Dialysis, or ER and this that and the 3rd happened blah blah blah... you are wasting my time, the whole class seated behind you are looking at each other rolling their eyes and mouthing the words SHUT THE **** UP PLEASE, and the instructor doesn't really give a damn anyway.
Do not come to my home for study group, eat the pizza I order and pay for, eat all the snacks I have, eat all my Christmas candy, and then walk out the door without saying, "Thank you." (This happened last weekend.)

And... Just because I am friends with guys in the class and I am one of the only non-married females in our semester, doesn't mean I am a "homewrecker". Mind your own business. :argue:

On a positive note.
