  1. Please don't give up, your skills will come back to you. Everybody gets discouraged at times, but pull yourself out, and realize you are capable of anything, i mean you did make it through the torture of nursing school :) I dont know if your religious, but my mom always told me that nurses are hand picked to do his work, and he chose you for a reason even though you may not see it yet, you will!!!! HAVE FAITH!!!
  2. the trick worked for me. took my test Nov 6th, did the trick about 5 hours later, got the pop up! quick results says PASS!!!!!! OMG, im so excited...
  3. I attended mjcc dayton campus, and i would not reccomend it, although when i graduated, it semmed to be getting better. The instructors were awesome, but the school itself is all about the money.
  4. BUT....i always seem to hear or read what nursing isn't instead of what nursing is, and it sometimes makes me feel like we don't give ourselves enough credit for what we do. You are doing God's work, and that takes a very special person, be proud he chose you :) ..just a thought :)
  5. im 20 years old, and also engaged. My finace and I live with my parents while im in nursing school bc i have no time to really work except weekends. It would be worth it because in the end you will have a career. You're fiance should support you in whatever you decide bc he loves you. He should want whats best for you. I SAY GO FOR IT :)
  6. hi, i am in my 3rd quarter of LPN school, and i have learned a lot. I wated on the RN waiting list at another school for a year, and finally i got tired of wiating, when i left there i still had another year wait plus 2 years for my RN. I decided to go to LPN school because it takes a year, and after i graduate i can bridge over without the wait and be done with my RN in 15 months. So its quicker thatn siting on a waiting list, plus you can work in LTC after you graduate LPN school, and make decent money while going for your RN. I highly recomend the lpn program first! hope this helped :)
  7. read the book, and take the practice tests, read the rationale, and the ones you get wrong write down on flash cards with the rationale.
  8. iron injections bc it can stain the skin permanately. also any med that may be irritating to the surrounding tissue (demerol).
  9. wow youve had a rough life, beings that you have a story about something that happened to you over every single topic we go over!!!!
  10. I Am Entering My 3rd Quarter At Mjcc! They Do Have A Night Program. My First Two Quarters I Went Form 6-10, And This Quarter We Start Clinicals From 3-11, Mon-thurs.
