You need to get used to it. If you're expecting perfect grammar all the time, it's certain you'll be disappointed.

I'll take bad grammar over leet speak or texting abbreviations any day.

I feel your pain! I'm a grammar nazi, lol.
What is leet speak? I can't stand the texting abbreviations. I don't mind some like lol and a couple other ones. That's about all I can take though. I am constantly on my teenager for his status updates on facebook when he starts doing that.

Yeah the short ones are ok but when you reduce an entire sentence to five letters it gets ridiculous.

Big deal... in my mind, proper grammar is a very small indicator of a person's true intellect, wisdom or ability to critically think

Oh ok, I never knew the name for it. I can't stand that either.
That's true, but I find myself questioning their professionalism when I get emails from teachers, colleagues, etc that misspell words or don't use proper grammar.
