Hey all,
I'm taking the Nclex tomorrow, and studying/reviewing last minute things. I jumped on allnurses for a bit of a break.
So here's my question.. What is the theme song to your nursing career?
This past week of my externship, it's been "Another One Bites the Dust".
There's a hospital here that plays "lullaby" on the overhead speakers each time a baby is born in the hospital, I think they should play "another one bites the dust" each time a patient passes as well; otherwise, it'd just be unfair!
At the start it would have been nice to think it could have been "Dr. Love" by First Choice, but we all know that in reality that's too gruesome to contemplate.
On a new grad's salary, it could have Millie Jackson's "Get It Out'cha System"
"You're runnin' out of ways to pay the rent
Every dime you make has already been spent
You paid one month and now, you still owe two"
After 25 years at this lark, how about Mary Coughlan's "Whiskey Didn't Kill The Pain"

:lol2: That is so bad.

"It's the End of the World as We Know It" I listened to his before every test I took in nursing school and before my NCLEX-RN. I listened to it before my job interview today too :).
