Hey all,
I'm taking the Nclex tomorrow, and studying/reviewing last minute things. I jumped on allnurses for a bit of a break.
So here's my question.. What is the theme song to your nursing career?

Now, THAT"S an interesting question! Since I didn't have an immediate mental PING response to it, I'm going to have to give it some serious consideration! But. I"LL BE BACK!

Always look on the bright side of life
Had a number of set backs in my, so far, short nursing career. Thing is, some of the things that were absolutely devastating at the time have turned out to be the best thing that's happened

Considering today is my next to last day for this school year (school nurse checking in here)...I've been singing in my head SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER!

Oh the cow kicked Nelly in the belly in the barn,
and the doctor said it would do no harm,
SECOND verse same as the FIRST, a little bit louder and a little bit worse...
(repeat, ad nausem)
I'm still a student, and all of the sitting and studying is getting very monotonous.

Bowl of Oranges by Bright Eyes for this quote:
"I came upon a doctor who appeared in quite poor health. I said 'there is nothing I can do for you that you can't do for yourself.' He said 'Oh yes you can, you can hold my hand, I think that that would help.' So I sat with him a while, then I asked him how he felt. He said 'I think I'm cured. In fact, I'm sure. Thank you, stranger, for your therapeutic smile.'"
